    What's the best color choices for premodern goblins in an unknown meta?

    Don't want to start holywars, but I personally think that RB is the best option. List I play with some local success (68% winrate):

    4 Goblin Matron
    4 Goblin Piledriver

    4 Bloodstained Mire
    4 Rishadan Port
    4 Sulfurous Springs

    Most choices are obvious, only few things to comment. I prefer to play in 8 discard spells against control/combo after sideboarding, though it seems too much sometimes. Crusades are awesome since it help to nulify both plague and CoP:Red effects. Manabase is a pain somehow, but I'm too greedy not to play ports and wastelands as 4-of. LD can be changed to Biddings, the difference is insignificant in my opinion.

    I think a completely unknown meta is not really that meaningful. If you do I would then expect something like half the metagame to be

    Elves
    Goblins
    Sligh
    Rock
    UW

    You'll more realistically be paired up against anything, so just play what you're most comfortable with. I would maybe want to have some kind of analysis of which archetype is best vs elves, which is best vs sligh etc.

    That would be more meaningful.
