The updated curiosity that gives legendary creatures +1/+1 and ward 1 is fun if there are enough legendary creatures. But vulnerable to removal.

    Ragavan in modern.

Fear not, now you can play UR Cat without Teferi, and then you can use the Mox-Kobolds (0 mana, red) to go infinite on Mana Cannons damage with a Cat in play! Or maybe you still need Teferi. Who knows.

This guy seems really good especially with the prospector.
    Goblin Storm time?

On a more serious note, he gives massive comeback potential after wipes.

I play zombies in modern. Undead Augur, is one of the most powerful payoffs for being in tribal and this, imo is just as strong. Being a lord is added gravy which lets this play very will with vial.

    Karn's Sylex 3
    Legendary Artifact
Karn's Sylex enters the battlefield tapped.
Players can't pay life to cast spells or to activate abilities that aren't mana abilities.
X, T, Exile Karn's Sylex: Destroy each nonland permanent with mana value X or less. Activate as a sorcery.

If shops gets it out early it shuts down fetch lands and FOW and then acts like a Deed?

Seems not too great in Legacy Ancient Tomb strategies since you'll be nuking your own board as well.

Seems very playable in regular Goblins.

Is Goblin Recruiter unbanned yet? Because these two allow some Prospector combo silliness.

Goblin recruiter isn't getting banned until at the very least it doesn't take ten minutes to stack your deck. Legacy players are already some of the slowest motherfuckers in the game.

I was thinking urzatron when I saw it, but I don't think that's popular in legacy.

A shame it can't rebuy indefinitely like Lurrus and 4 mana is kinda slow. There are still Blinking shenanigans to be had.

    Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut the flaaaaaaaaaaaavoooooooooooooooooooooor.

    Quirion Beastcaller
    1G
    Creature - Dryad Warrior
Whenever you cast a creature spell, put a +1/+1 counter on Quirion Beastcaller.

When Quirion Beastcaller dies, distribute X +1/+1 counters among any number of target creatures you control, where X is the number of +1/+1 counters on Quirion Beastcaller.
There has to be a shell where this is playable.

I can think of some Pioneer and Modern ones, sure.

Pretty fun card for the Hardened Scales decks in Modern/Pioneer/Explorer.

I would understand this card in UR, but RG seems rather odd.

It's got "Urza but fixed" vibes. Dies to bolt, no token synergies, actually makes people pay mana for the spells. I'm not sure they'd print something like that in blue.

In principle, it could fit into something like lantern control or a non-token artifact deck like Krark Clain Ironworks.

The new Merfolk and Goblin lords look extremely playable. The Elves one feels playable too but that one's harder to evaluate in a vacuum I think.

Yeah this could make some build of Angel Stompy real oppressive though. The thought of recurring Tangle Wires...

Probably too expensive to be viable but god would it be annoying to play against. Might muck around with some list.

Rhetorical question, but why the f is this mythic?
