I expected anti-discard tech like Loxodon Smiter, so I wanted to mimic the deck, but was also nervous Rack was too good.
Also had T1 Dark Ritual Lost Soul, but it's illegal because it loses OTD to Inkmoth. Leyline + Tatterkite is a very clever solution to that problem!
dte: Mutagenic Growth, Legacy Weapon, Chancellor of the Tangle, Ghazbán Ogre
I can only get your hand below 3 cards for 1 turn, before you redraw Legacy Weapon. OTP I can play Rack & discard you before Ogre attacks once. But Ogre's "intervening if" won't trigger at 20 life, so Rack will deal 1 damage but it won't steal Ogre. Then Ogre attacks and you're always ahead on life. LL 6-0
Wrath of Pie: Mercadian Bazaar, Deadeye Duelist, Loxodon Smiter, Leyline of Sanctity
You don't reveal Leyline, and I can't dare Raven's Crime you. Bazaar charges to 1000 counters. Then Duelist races Rack at 1 damage. Rack would win on your upkeep, but you can respond to Rack trigger to kill me first. LL 6-0
GoblinSmashmaster: Chancellor of the Forge, Gut Shot, Boggart Birth Rite, Legacy Weapon
Your hand never goes below 3-4 cards, so Rack deals 0 damage. LL 6-0
Tirrit: Leyline of Anticipation, Lotus Petal, Dark Ritual, Tatterkite
3 damage vs 2 damage WW 0-6
I knew I was losing this match, but I thought this type of deck would be illegal, missing the Tatterkite trick to beat Inkmoth's first attack OTD.
Silkster: Havenwood Battleground, Melira, Sylvok Outcast, Noxious Revival, Providence
OTP T1 Crime (discard Providence) / tapped land.
T2 2nd Crime (discard Noxious to protect Melira) / Melira
T3 Rack / Melira attacks [F=18, S=23]
3 damage vs 2 damage, I win the race
OTD T1 tapped land / Crime (discard Providence)
T2 Melira / Rack (1 card in hand)
T3 attack with Melira [F=18, S=24] / 2nd Crime (in response, you Noxious putting back Providence)
T4 redraw, attack [F=16, S=19]
From there it's 2 damage vs 2 damage and you win the race at 1 life.
WL 3-3

If you do nothing, I can't win. Each Crime makes you a 1/1 and I'd lose. But if I don't cast Crime we draw. DD 2-2

2 answers in, two disagreements for me: maybe I have to think a bit more :/
Otherwise on the black lotus topic: my card was sulfuric vortex and that would have made full sweep... except others would probably have played lotus too :)

But don't you need both to trade with the ogre?
I hope you're right, but I see this as DD.
You OTP, you play rack. If I play Ogre, you force me to discard weapon, and APNAP gives you the ogre. So I do not cast ogre. Later my mana is gone. So, D and 4-1 for you?

Yah it’s DD Mb. 12 points
This one may be WL 3-3
dte OTP
T1 Ogre / 1/1 haste goblin
T2 Ogre attacks
If Goblin blocks + Gut Shot, you Mutagenic Growth and win combat (D=18, G=18). Then life totals are tied so you keep Ogre to attack again.
If Goblin doesn't block and attacks back (D=19, G=18), you still keep Ogre.
Goblin OTP
T1 1/1 haste goblin (D=19)
This time you start out lower on life and don't keep the Ogre.
Then don't you lose to the ceiling deck? Bandit's Talent will deal 2 damage each turn + Sulfuric Vortex damage, killing you first. Needs to be something like Loxodon Smiter that forces them to never play Bandit's Talent, letting Inkmoth get raced by Vortex.
I tried to brew something like Vortex, but it was either losing to Bandit's Talent or too slow vs Inkmoth (without Lotus). It was hard to make a "bad deck" that survived 2x discard and wasn't raced by either wincon.
Clever, did not think about Revival being used to go back up to 1 card.

I played the card that you were scared of but we still just trade. I guess I could have played Leyline of Sanctity and a discard-beater like Loxodon Smiter, but I was afraid that people would play targeting win-conditions.
I'm half/one turn faster than you, so you just block.

This round was indeed very difficult. For the longest time I could only think of a few decks, and they basically all went 2-2 against one another, except for the Show and Tell deck preying on Chancellors. I was pretty much planning to play that since Wednesday until some last minute inspiration found a deck that goes 6-0 against S&T. Basically all of my decks were like triple Chancellor of the Tangle/Lotus Petal with a medium threat, or Revival/Sanctity + Smiter + land + medium threat, or sometimes mixing in a Chancellor of the Tangle with a card like Legacy Weapon that returns to hand after being discarded. I was worried that this week was going to nearly all draws because I really couldn't find other things. I'm really happy for the diversity that showed up. Backbuild rounds/seasons can get kind of ridiculous, but I really like the power level of these decks for a backbuild round.
I don't think APNAP matters here. Doesn't Ghazbán Ogre have an intervening if-clause? So if you start your upkeep with equal life, it doesn't trigger at all.

2-2, I block since you played fast Melira. The version I had envisioned was charge land, 2xMelira, ray of revelation (playing VERY narrow enchantment removal in order to get raced).

I completely played myself this round. My first submission, the day that the new round was determined, was dryad arbor, 2x island of wak-wak, ray of revelation because I found that it lost to most of the other decks I thought of, and the ones it didn't lose to it drew with (And indeed I think it would have been a clean sweep here. None of your threats are discarding enchantments or flying creatures). But then I thought, well other people may come up with this too, and find answers. So I spent the whole week trying to find a reasonable deck that loses to the wak-wak deck. I found torment of scarabs but it was too hard to play (this is what I would have played with black lotus! Or if there existed a version of ancient spring that tapped for green and sac'd for black), then eventually I found tatterkite and I convinced myself that it was better than the dryad arbor deck. It was certainly more interesting! If I'd played leyline and lost soul (which I did consider) I would have done a lot better, but I was obsessed with the wak wak so all my threats had to fly lol.

I tried to make things like Desecration Elemental work, but Blackmail had to be target player for some reason. I probably should have tried a more compact win condition, seems better to hide the fourth card from Blackmail rather than play Leyline of Sanctity.
