Out of curiosity, why the soul eater?
It's a fairly good card that trade vs almost any ground creature.
Souleater seems smarter than evasive nonartifact creatures. It loses to disenchants and still trades with 1/1s. Falcon was also good, losing to Wak-Wak.
Remote Farm seems fine. Not only does it lose to Hex Parasite, but it also loses to double bounce effect. Orzhov Basilica doesn't.
Rainbow Vale + Magus let you cast Wispmare as a creature. 1/3 flyer turns out to be good.
My 1/1 can't attack into a 1/3, so you get the first attack to win the race.

I assume there is no deadline today?
Silkster, are you busy? Do you want someone else to organize the next few rounds to give you a break?
Hi everyone,
Sorry for being completely MIA. Holiday travel and events kind of snuck up on me, and then things kept happening. I'll be back to normal on Friday, and I'll post lists then, likely around 1EDT.

Posting imminently.

Oh, I think some people might have been waiting for me to announce a round or my deck. We're missing tirrit, Reeplcheep, and FTW. I'll give them some time. I'll post this evening or in the morning if lists come in, but I know it has been a while and they might not be checking.
The good news is that the submitted decks look legal. :)

It has been a while, it's the regular time, and I did hear from tirrit that he's taking a break from this round. So here we go.

Two danger noodles beat one big robot.

My first searches before for this round were giant artifact creatures that cost up to 7 to play on turn 3. Then I tried to play Brain Maggot, but I wasn't allowed to cast it on turn 1, so it felt too weak. Then I realized that Strip Mine was legal and it crushed everything I had before. For a while I was running regular old Forest, but eventually realized that Strip Mine was so good that I was sure to face it, and I was right.
I'm amused that the previous round's super horrible deck had the strong point of being immune to Strip Mine, though it was not designed to be so.

FTW: Strip Mine, Ancient Tomb, Steel Overseer, Lupine Prototype
Should have submitted Vault Skirge instead of Lupine. I feared Skirge would be too weak. But not being able to cast the 2nd threat through LD is a big problem with this build, and Lupine is useless as a 1st threat.
GoblinXmasMaster: Dwarven Ruins, City of Traitors, Goblin Replica, Lupine Prototype
Strip Mine on Ruins stops your Lupine if I don't play mine, and Overseer wins.
WW 6-0
Wrath of Pie: Ancient Tomb, Steel Overseer, Phyrexian Revoker, Strip Mine
OTP T1 Overseer. If you play Overseer, I Strip you and play Lupine, then 2 threats beat 1. If you Strip first, my Overseer is too far ahead of yours. But you can play T1 Strip T2 Revoker naming Overseer! Mine gets stuck at 2/2 and we trade.
OTD you play T1 Overseer. If I Strip you, mine is too slow. If I play an Overseer, you can grow to 2/2 and Revoker Overseer, then Strip me. 2/2 + 2/1 beat my 1/1.
DL 1-4
dte: Strip Mine, Strip Mine, Chronomaton, Chronomaton
OTP T1 Overseer. If you play Chrono, I Strip you and play Lupine, then 2 grow threats beat growing 1 Chrono per turn. If you Strip me first, I can't play Lupine, but I get to Strip you off all mana (no 2nd Chrono or grow) and Overseer beats a 1/1.
OTD you play T1 Chrono. I Strip you. You play 2nd Chrono. I play Overseer. If you Strip me, you can't grow and Overseer easily wins. If you don't, I play Lupine and grow faster than you.
WW 6-0
Silkster: Darkmoss Bridge, Fang of Shigeki, Fang of Shigeki, Strip Mine
I can make a very large Overseer, but never get to play a 2nd threat so you get through with 2 deathtouchers.
LL 0-6
13 points (4 wins, 1 draw, 3 loss)
Considered Darksteel Citadel + 2 Chrono + Strip Mine, to have safe mana, but didn't like double Chrono while only being able to grow 1 per turn.
Vault Skirge sweeps here! Thought it would be worse. I guess we did have to lose to a 1/1.

Silkster: Darkmoss Bridge, Fang of Shigeki, Fang of Shigeki, Strip Mine, comment: lands so vulnerable - LL - Deathtouch and immunity to Strip Mine? Can't compete with that.

I would have gotten away with this round if it weren't for those meddling deathtouchers.
