LL - That last minute switch to a fourth card that isn't answered by Blazing Hope was brutal! Also, very well done to find a deck that loses to a lace specifically, but unfortunate that it relies on too many cards and succumbs to verdicts.
Oh wait, you walk into Duress. I think the previous decks were DD, but the math was complicated enough that I hadn't done it. WW
For about 4 days, what I submitted was the only deck I had in mind. Then I started brewing Bottomless Vault, Hand of Death/Duress, Skinthinner/Midnight Banshee, Push//Pull decks. I got as far as realizing that the Baloth is fast enough that it doesn't necessarily lose to Skinthinner and Banshee, I just went with it.
I'm a little surprised not to see any Canal Dredgers, as it mimics Junktroller so closely.

Your goblin's too small, but T7 Jabari's Influence is fast enough, so I can't win with the 5/5 DD 2-2
Silkster: Mana Confluence, Duress, Durkwood Baloth, Blazing Hope
Smart deck! Blazing Hope was the perfect card for this ceiling deck, and 3 things proved better than 2.
OTP I Verdict, you discard Duress and Baloth/Hope, the other trades with Baloth.
OTD you Duress first, taking Verdict. Then we both suspend Baloth. I hold back to defend. Instead of trading Baloths, you can EOT tap Mana Confluence to reduce your life. The turn your life is 7, I can't attack yet (you could take 5, Blazing Hope, then your Baloth wins). When your life is 6, I could attack and you can't take the damage, but you can cast Blazing Hope at 5 life to kill Baloth and win. If I don't attack, same thing. DL 1-4

T1 Verdict. No matter what you discard, you can't make a threat after losing 2 cards. WW 6-0
15 points (2 win, 9 draws, 1 loss)
Couldn't predict what this meta would look like. Fast discard 2 seemed like it would disrupt a wide range of decks without beating Junktroller.
Chancellor of the Annex is was playable tier 1 disruption, so I made sure to not lose to it.
I considered anti-white, but a nonwhite 5/5 like Baloth gets around that.
I'm impressed to see Homelands powerhouse Ihsan's Shade successfully used in a round trying to win!
Losing to a 5/5 is a big reason to pick a 5/5 over Dredger.

And nicely designed Silkster :)
I think you go WL. On the play, you exile the Wayfarer before Huatli comes down. On the draw, T4 Huatli comes down and makes a 3/3, then you have to exile Huatli. Now you take 5 damage per turn while you rebuild.
Looks like our next floor deck will be: Mana Confluence, Duress, Durkwood Baloth, Blazing Hope
Banned list is now:
Thassa's Oracle
Laboratory Maniac
Jace, Wielder of Mysteries
Strip Mine
Ghost Quarter
Wasteland
Volatile Fault
Subterranean Hangar
Deathlace
Junktroller
Inquisition
Mana Confluence
Duress
Durkwood Baloth
Blazing Hope
We probably don't need to ban the powerful 7 in backbuild rounds, but I'm going to leave them banned anyway.

I was aware that discard decks were possible and that my deck would lose to them, but my discard decks couldn't win against all the charge land decks I thought of ({bottomless vault, collective brutality, zombify, serra's emissary}, {saprazzan cove, phantasmal dreadmaw, phantasmal dragon, chancellor of the annex}) so I discounted them since I thought a lot of people would be on charge lands. My plan was to be fast enough to go under the charge land decks and strong enough to stabilize against fast 5/5 decks. I was wrong! It would have paid to be the charge land deck this week. I was also excited about figuring out how to lose to specifically the lace card (Although of course removal that hits the wayfarer does the trick, too), which made me more inclined to ignore that it lost to discard.

Does Grief ban in Legacy affect format legality for 4CB immediately?
Luckily this week is the Backbuild round, otherwise it might be relevant to submissions.

I might have flown too close to thesunground. In the middle of the night, I realized another line for the floor deck. They can hold off on suspending the baloth to try to land it the turn that they can exile the Magus and then just stay back to block the Zombie. I thought my deck was illegal for a while, but I now think it might be okay. They start out doing nothing but duressing the reunion. I make the magus and make a decayed zombie. I attack for 1 a bunch. At some point, they have to suspend the baloth to try to land it around 2 life. At this point, I can stop attacking and wait for the baloth to land. Opponent will be losing life on my end step. When they're at 4 on my turn with confluence untapped, I can attack with both. They can't exile either, and going to 1 leaves them unable to exile anything, and Shriekmaw will clear the way regardless of baloth timing.
Tirrit's deck is also close. The key is that when they're both at 5 life and the baloth is tapped, he attacks with just the 4/1, planning to chump block the following turn. I think it works out.

Should have just played the Calendar. Vortex is cute vs painlands but much faster than Calendar since I can charge up and put on more than one counter.
