    Dredgacles (and Other AI Decks?)

    Me: Show an example Legacy decklist combining elements of Miracles and Dredge.

    ChatGPT: Combining elements of Miracles and Dredge in a Legacy deck can be challenging due to the different game plans and strategies employed by these archetypes. However, here's an example of a decklist that incorporates some elements of both:

    Main Deck:

    4 Flooded Strand
    4 Polluted Delta
    2 Tundra
    1 Underground Sea
    2 Island
    1 Plains
    1 Swamp
    4 Serum Visions
    4 Brainstorm
    4 Ponder
    2 Preordain
    4 Force of Will
    4 Swords to Plowshares
    3 Terminus
    2 Narset, Parter of Veils
    2 Jace, the Mind Sculptor
    4 Lion's Eye Diamond
    4 Faithless Looting
    4 Golgari Grave-Troll
    4 Stinkweed Imp
    4 Bridge from Below
    4 Cabal Therapy
    4 Dread Return

    Sideboard:

    2 Surgical Extraction
    2 Force of Negation
    2 Containment Priest
    2 Leyline of the Void
    2 Wear // Tear
    2 Disenchant
    2 Rest in Peace
    1 Ashen Rider

    This deck aims to combine the control aspects of Miracles with the graveyard recursion and explosive potential of Dredge. The main deck includes key Miracles components such as Brainstorm, Ponder, and Force of Will for card selection and interaction. It also features the Dredge package with cards like Faithless Looting, Golgari Grave-Troll, and Stinkweed Imp to fill the graveyard and set up dredging. Bridge from Below and Dread Return offer powerful synergy with the Dredge strategy, allowing for explosive plays.

    The sideboard includes various options to adapt to different matchups, including graveyard hate, additional counterspells, and enchantment removal.

    Please note that combining these archetypes can be challenging, as they have different focuses and game plans. This decklist is an experimental attempt to blend elements of Miracles and Dredge, and further customization and testing would be required to fine-tune it for competitive play.

    Me: Would Dredgacles be a good name for the example deck above?

    ChatGPT: "Dredgacles" could be a creative and catchy name for the example deck that combines elements of Miracles and Dredge. It effectively conveys the fusion of the two archetypes and adds a unique flair to the deck's identity. Naming your deck can be a fun and personal aspect of deckbuilding, so if "Dredgacles" resonates with you and accurately represents the combination of Miracles and Dredge, feel free to use it!

    A tournament of decks like these would be hilarious.

    Re: Dredgacles (and Other AI Decks?)

    Lol...

    72 card deck??

    Miracles with only 13 blue (8 fetch + 5 island) in 72 cards

    4 Serum Visions instead of -4 cards???

    4 Dread Return 4 Bridge with 0 Narcomoeba 0 Ichorid 0 fatty??? It built the Dredge engine without any payoff for it. Guess you can replay Imp a bunch while LEDing all the Forces out of your hand.

    Missed opportunity to play Echo of Eons to complement LED + Narset.

    SB has 8x grave hate 0x storm hate, 4x disenchant 0x mass artifact hate. It clearly mixed the 2 sideboards without factoring in roleplayers or balance.

    Chat GPT can produce some truly idiotic outputs given vague prompts. There's a real art to feeding it useful prompts to get intelligent outputs. I haven't tried that with Magic specificially, but it applies to all fields.

    Re: Dredgacles (and Other AI Decks?)

    ChatFTW suggests the following Dredgicles list

    //Lands: 20
    4 Flooded Strand
    2 Polluted Delta
    2 Prismatic Vista
    2 Tundra
    1 Underground Sea
    3 Island
    2 Plains
    1 Karakas
    1 Otawara, Soaring City
    2 Urza's Saga

    //Spells: 23
    4 Force of Will
    4 Brainstorm
    4 Ponder
    4 Swords to Plowshares
    2 Prismatic Ending
    2 Cabal Therapy
    1 Dread Return
    2 Terminus

    //Planeswalkers: 2
    2 Teferi, Time Raveler

    //Creatures: 13
    4 Nomads en-Kor
    4 Cephalid Illusionist
    4 Narcomoeba
    1 Thassa's Oracle

    //Artifacts: 1
    1 Shuko

    //Enchantments: 1
    1 Thought Lash

    //Sideboard: 15
    1 Blue Elemental Blast
    1 Flusterstorm
    1 Spell Pierce
    1 Force of Negation
    1 Prismatic Ending
    2 Serenity
    1 Supreme Verdict
    2 Surgical Extraction
    1 Nihil Spellbomb
    1 Pithing Needle
    1 Thassa's Oracle
    2 Paradigm Shift

    This is secretly the Dredge deck to play in UW (Dread Return + Narcomoeba + Cabal Therapy + self-mill = Dredge engine).

    Built with a more controlling angle than normal. Terminus has minor synergy wiping the board while putting Narcomoebas and Thassa back in library instead of into graveyard. Thought Lash can play a UW control defensive role or eventually combo out with Thoracle without using the graveyard. Postboard the "fair" plan is to board out a few copies of Breakfast pieces to bring in Oracle + 2 Paradigm Shift + relevant fair interaction. Then you can double down on the control role, dodge expected grave hate, and still threaten Nomads+Illusionist (force opponent to defend against it) while being able to win without the graveyard (Thought Lash, Paradigm Shift).
