At least those make it easy to fake cards because nobody would check.
Downside is you'd have to look at these ugly as sin artworks and have to think for 5 min every time you look at the card to figure out what the hell it's supposed to be or if you accidentally got a tip card in your deck.

EDH was a lot more fun when you had to discover the cool gems and interactions instead of WOTC just handing you everything.
