Frog + Necro have a funny interaction where you can discard extra unwanted cards on end step to make a giant frog. Both Frog & Necro function as draw engines to fuel the Tier S disruption (FoW, Grief, Daze, Wasteland) and make up for the card disadvantage. All backed by the dumbest threats in the format.
SB Leyline just to blow out Reanimator and Scam. Murkwho? They won't be able to scam or easily interact with your enchantments, and Necro + Frog means more draw to outdraw them.
Energy Field is a funny prison combo with Necro, good for grindy matches or aggro. May consider more copies of Energy Field. 2 for now.
All these conditional enchantments (Necro, Leyline, Energy Field) also pitch to cards and discard to Frog and loot to Blood tokens, so they're rarely "dead".
You lose the scam starts. But Ritual + Necro!
What about Barrowgoyf in the Cavalry spots? It's also a lifelinker, but can generate card advantage as well. I've been impressed by it when I've seen it in action.
Wasn't considering that Necro exiles your yard. Nevermind then.
Yeah, so that means this can't really play Murktide or Goyfs. Especially with Frog eating the few cards that do make it to graveyard.
But on the flip side, it can combo with Energy Field. I haven't decided if that's good enough for main, but I have 2 in the SB for now.
