I don't get people that double sign a card by the same artist. I dislike signed cards in general, but double signed by the same artist are just an aberration.

I get it in two cases.
1. The artist has changed their signature (see Terese Neilson)
2. There's something unique about one of the signatures - for example, my "double signed" full-art Ponders:

The card looks slightly played i'll give you that. However, the writing on the back, at least to me, doesn't make it any less pimp. I may be mistaken but there are 875 pages to this thread and how many card backs do you think got posted? id be willing to bet close to 0, unless of course the card is double sided.

That's why i went for it!
It's giving me a lot of satisfactions vs uwx Miracles, various aggros (Goblins, Merfolks, and various types of Maverick), it makes me feel good even vs ANT and demi-storm decks.
Anyway, i'll continue checking for various matchups.
I'll post some other decks in these days anyway ^^
Beautiful! You need that Beta Jet and Lotus indeed. If the time comes to sell everything, you put this pile in a deckbox (preferably the old Juzam/Lotus one), ductape it shut and you're ready for the end of days.

Man, it's amazing that with all the foil Korean/Japanese stuff I've seen in this thread that the Beta non-foil mono-black deck is the most beautiful of them all.
There's something about that simple card design with the stark contrasted colors and the singular hand-painted artwork that just puts all the new stuff to shame.
Screw old frame/new art/whatever Judge foils. Give us original art in Beta card frames with confusing text formatting.

Yes, that deck is more beautiful than a lot of recent stuff that comes in a non-fantasy frame, with forgettable art and wrapped like a corrugated metal due to low-quality foiling.
The black cards are especially nice due to the black borders, but otherwise I'm kinda not thrilled with the BBs, as they tend to suffer with chips and w/e else. In my Magic world there'd be none of the alternate borders, frames and such, and there'd be far more cards with crappy wording (even though maybe not exactly Beta-like kind of 1993 Sumerian.)

I feel like I've taken 2 steps forward and 1 step back with this update, but I felt it was worthwhile to showcase off the awesome new mat drawn by a friend.
On the one hand I finished up my duals and got some signatures done. On the other... I'm trying out a new build of the deck and now I need Caverns, Shaman of the Pack, and a Gaddock Teeg in addition to the Natural Orders and Cradles I already was putting off picking up. On the plus side I start a new job in a week, so maybe those paychecks will be put to "work" eventually.
(Birchlores are signed, if the lighting masks that fact)

Elf deck looks amazing, and the playmat is the best i've seen.
