I was also working on pimping my D&T into Japanese nonfoil in time for Louisville, still missing Moms/flickerwisps/recruiters and just lost a package with my stoneforges/plows/Gideons in the mail :/

    Spicy take friend.

Have you instead considered that this thread is cool + good still? Example: Those Entombs above are awesome.

Thanks for listening to my less spicy take.

Cheers Pilhas! I'm a fan of basics too - I think they're a great way to set the identity and tone of your deck. Glad you like the Mt Fujis!

Sometimes it seems like Belcher would be a good idea. Sometimes.

    Isn't that just Tin Fins?
The purpose of any moat is to impede attack. Some are filled with water, some with thistles. Some are filled with things best left unseen.

Not exactly, Tin Fins puts Griselbrand into play via reanimate effects (and I do not own any Goryo's Vengeance ). But the concept is similar anyway, yeah.

What do you guys think of the new set's Masterpieces?

They are printing some very Legacy-relevant cards as Masterpieces in this one: Chalice, Ensnaring Bridge, Trinisphere, Wurmcoil Engine, etc.

If you were a MUD player would you consider these better "pimp" options than the original Mirrodin foils? Or 8th ed. foil in the case of Bridges?

Re: [DO NOT TRY TO SELL IN HERE] Pimp Legacy Decks

in case of bridges it 7th or bust

Masterpieces have nice arts although I m not to impressed by their foiling process and the borders although interesting and to some degree nice stand out to much from me, like from the rest of the deck so I would jsut go with original set foils.

I got 7th foils but I do like Inventions. Good thing bridge is played in multiple decks..

I've been meaning to post my elves for a while but never really gotten around to taking pictures of the deck. It's fully altered (save for the cradles) right now...

Not the best photos I'm afraid, I had some issues with glare. At least you can see what the cards look like, even if it's a bit grainy.
