I have finally completed my MTG 1994 World Champion deck.
And the sideboard.
Except for the Mana Vault the white border will remind white borders :( ! Looking forward playing this deck in the Toronto Area.
I am going to work on a "Play like it's 1995" project now. All black borders looks much more realistic.
That is fucking awesome. I wish I had the betas to put Bertrands Zoo deck together. Mine would be BB but all K0reaned out.
What's that format that the Swedes play with no cards past like the Dark? You can't use foreign cards or anything past unlimited? Type 94?
Got a package with a bunch of foils that I've been waiting on for a while! Super excited to finally have it!
And the best part!
You can probably change your name to Big Fish now :)
Fantastic Russian foils.
I have a fun non-foil Russian deck on the way. Waiting for 4 cards from Italy, and I'll post it. 69 out of the 75 will ultimately be Russian (I'll be able to post 66).
Got a bunch of smaller stuff in this week. The Beta Starters aren't full, they're just the boxes with the story inside to help round out the Beta Cube's essence. Plus, the obligatory Tim Hortons ad spot.
The duals obv are NOT new, I was sorting the Junk deck and all the cards were in that deckbox for some reason.

The combat knife really ties it all together.
EDIT:
Envelope Opening Apparatus Thread anyone?
Vancouver, actually.
Toronto probably has a much better gaming scene, I suspect.

Better than that awful swill Dunkin' Donuts, however.

"Swiggety Swagtusk, Here comes the Thragtusk!""The last top 8 slot went to the winner of that Death and Taxes mirror, or as I like to call it, the White Supremacy Mirror.

We call it "93-94", legal editions is alpha, beta, unlimited, arabian nights, antiquities, legends and the dark. It's philosopy is that these where the cards that was printed during this era (93-94) and to preserv the "old-school" feeling about it revised is not allowed. Fallen Empiers was printed in 94 but it could be bought during 95 and doesn't quite fit the "old-school" feeling, so it was cut.
You can reed more about the format, or just watch som nice decks, here:

EDIT: Forgot to mention, but no non-english cards are allowed and no reprints.
