Dear Bryant,
Keystone tastes like fucking water, and it's cheap. When you grow up and be a big boy, and pay for your own alcohol, then you can call a spade a spade. Till then, you'll drink what I give you and like it, bitch.
And you get shitty liquor.
Haha american drinking age.
Two questions:
Are any artists going to be in attendance?
And I've been out of the loop but is lorwyn tourney legal yet? ( I know it is a stupid question, that if I have played in tournaments recently I would know, but guess what... I have not)
I was resleeving my deck (Ultra Pro sleeves) for tomorrow and I got one pack from a card store (he only had one left). Then it turned out they had the same color I was looking for at my local comic book store on casual night, so I buy another pack to resleeve my entire deck.
And... what happened to the sleek, smooth-shuffling sleeves we love? The first pack I got was apparently the old line and the second were different (however, with the same item # and all). The new ones are all papery and loose and terrible! And I only have 50 useable sleeves! :((
All the talking about booze... it's pretty late here and i'm pretty drubnk and there is a bottke of Glenfiddich next to me and im happy! scotch >>> wodka. amaérican drinkio9ng laws suck hardcorwe!
I was trying to sleep before this but I kept waking up due to repeated sex dreams about David Gearhart. aND Yes Lorwyn is legal for this.
Team NeverWin: We just top 8 a lot.
Too lazy to post.
Any news?
Here's what I know:
I scrubbed out, both of the Hatfields were out before the final round I believe (Jesse was 3-2 I think, not sure what Alix was), Mr. Nightmare was still in contention I believe, Gearheart was out as well... and that's all I know for specifics as far as people goes. The turnout was, frankly, awful. Like, 58 people, so the prize structure was underwhelming, although generous given the turnout. There was some Thresh, more Goblins, and shitloads of randomness. I saw, among other things, Empty the Slogger (minus Empty), Thresh, Sui Black/Stax hybrid, Goblins, Cephalid Breakfast, Ichorid, Fish, Landstill, Psychatog, and Elves.
Some fairly random Tomb based GW decks were doing very solidly, although they looked janky as all hell from what I could see. Other than that, that's all I got.
Apparently Brian Diefendorf top 2ed with a survival varient, and Parcher Top 8ed with some random Red chalice aggro deck(awful pile).
That is all I know.
top 8:
Grb Survival
GW Survival
Mono Red Chalice Aggro
GW Tomb Aggro
Rbg Goblins
RGW Zoo
Alluren
Uwb Counterbalance Trinket Fish
top 4:
Mono Red Chalice Aggro beats Zoo
Grb Survival beats GW Survival
top 2: split
Wow, I weep as well. Wtf happened here?!?!
Kronicler
Team Info-Ninjas: Catchphrases so secret, I don't even know what they are!
I want to see the Survival lists, but more importantly I want to hear from the Survival players! How did they even find enough green and white cards to fill out a deck? They're so bad except for Goyfs. :< And was Red useful for anything besides Anger? Etc.
