    [Deck to improve] UW Dread-Paralax(ish)

    Hey,

Looking on Internet, and based on the Dreadstill deck, I tried to create a variant of it to bring to casual tournaments (FNM) to have some fun. The list is based around Stifle-like cards, abusing of triggered abilities mostly (W and U Paralax from Nemesis and ze Dreadnoutz).

However, this will need some working and that's why I am asking for your tips and help.

To start with, we have a Beta decklist:

    3 Phyrexian Dreadnought

    4 Standstill
    3 Counterbalance
    3 Paralax Tide
    2 Paralax Wave

    2 Sensei’s Divining Top

    4 Stifle
    2 Trickbind
    4 Spell Snare
    4 Force of Will
    3 Daze
    4 Brainstorm
    2 Enlightened Tutor

    4 Wasteland
    1 Academy Ruins
    3 Flooded Strand
    4 Tundra
    6 Island
    2 Plains

Clearly, the base is Dreadstill's engine plus Paralax. The Tide and Wave can be very powerful against different archetypes: blue shines against control while white against aggro. Dreadnought is there to finish things off.

However, I don't know if Dreadnought will be a consistent game winner, while I do know that after a Paralax Tide stifled and a Dreadnought can be deadly and almost game over. However, StP, for instance, costs only 1 mana and if I don't have Daze/FoW, I will need to start all over again, which sucks...

The strategy is gaining tempo by cards like Stifle, Spell Snare, Daze and Wasteland, while getting the "combo" pieces out and lock the opponent down with CB+Top and Paralax Tide.

    Any tips about this, guys?

    Thank you for your time!

No tips for the deck? The deck is not that good that deserves no fixing! Hehe.

    Really, anything can help :)
