A lot pf Painter players forget about it.
random match in MWS, me playing UGw Thresh vs. Epic Painter.
He grinds me in the mainphase. During my upkeep, I use Jotun Grunt to put StoP back as my library. He recorgnizes his misplay, flames me and leaves. That's MWS.
Back then at the Source tourney where I played UR Landstill, I also remember that I raped a black Stax variant with Explosives because he forgot about his Urborg.

Adan for being the NQG God (drawer)
We both played a really good games, I almost didn't catch it but it was late in game 3, and people started to come over, and I really focused to try to win this game. I knew he was going to activate, and I was thought i was over, cause I was staring at a land in hand. Jaya was a champ several times, but never more than that time.

Me playing RGW Scepter Zoo vs. Belcher
He wins die roll, EtW for 10 tokens. I play Taiga, Kird Ape. He swings for 10, I block 1, down to 11. I draw, play a land, drop Scepter-Chant. He gets a terrible look on his face. Swings in dropping me down to 3, I draw my 3rd land and lock him out.
Playing sligh and my opponent has me dead on the board next turn. I have no cards in had and nothing in play except a Cursed Scroll and three Mountains, my opponent is at five life. I draw for the turn and activate Scroll naming Fireblast... opponent is so pissed at his bad luck that he scoops up his cards without ever seeing the fourth Mountain I drew.
I would say that most of these wins in here are the opposite of classy.

The only two cards he could reveal to let him win the game are Demonic Tutor, Yawg Will, both of which are still in his deck. He shuffles and cuts. First reveal is... Demonic Tutor.
Bet you can't guess what happens next? Thats right, he's fucking Rich Shay.
This would be such a bad story if he had like 5 cards left in deck.
My favorite is getting made fun of for playing shit elves (intentional) by my opponent who is playing illusions. And Krosan Gripping him, game 1 and 2.
EDIT:
Also when playing a friends Painter's servant deck, i played Painter on turn 2... and beat for 20... Twice. We locked each other out of the games with CB's and played mind games countering I think 4? Krosan grips.
I had a Turn 1 Tombstalker played against me.
I was playing Elephant Stompy, so I didn't have any real removal against a threat like that.
My notes for that game say that he goldfished me.
On the other hand, in another game in the same match I played Turn 1 Spawnwrithe, and he scooped when he didn't have the removal on turn 2.
I was playing FT versus CWT1220 playing T.E.S. and it was Game one.
He Goes Turn 1
City of Brass, Dark Ritual, Infernal Contract down to 9 life
I went turn 1 Scrubland go.
He went turn 2
Land
Led, Led, Led
Infernal Tutor, Break all led for Black
Pass Priority
Me: Orim's Chant
He Loses the 9 life he had left to mana burn
So to recap I killed a man by only casting Orim's Chant.
I'm playing Ugr Dreadstill versus Uw Control (very landstillish, but no standstill and MD back to basics):
It was the most epic game I can remembering playing recently, unfortunately I probably won't be able to remember it all well enough to do it justice.
This was a very tight, very fun, very back and forth match, ending with this last few series of plays in (what I believe was) game three:
It was an extremely drawn out game, I'm down to 2, he's at 13, he has two Meddling Mage's on board along with a bunch of lands (one stopping Tarmogoyf and one stopping Dreadnought) staring down a couple of my Mishra's Factorys, a Top and a bunch of lands. We both have a few cards in hand.
Eventually he plays a Vedalken Shackles that I let resolve and then tries for a Fact or Fiction which I Force going to 1. I take the opportunity to EOT Echoing Truth his Meddling Mages. Letting me on my turn to plop down my Dreadnought w/Stifle and pass. He untaps and slams down a Mulldrifter...
Well fuck, I can swing in for 12 with dreadnought but he'll be alive at 1, and then I'll die to 'drifter. I can't activate + swing with Factories because of shackles.![]()
I think for a moment, peek through my graveyard, and realize I have one out left in the deck, a single Pyroblast. I draw my card for turn (not pyroblast). Then play brainstorm (drawing lands + trinket mage), I put the two lands on top, and then activate my top, digging one deeper, I see nada. I drop the Trinket Mage solely for the shuffle effect, fetching something irrelevant. My opponent shuffles and cuts and hands it back, I top again with my second to last land, see the 'blast 3rd from the top, draw it with top, and then blast the mulldrifter with my very last available mana.
...I then smash in for 12 w/nought, he draws his card for turn, and extends his hand.
Here's one from a tournament about a year ago: I play Armageddon Stax. My opponent plays a weird version of Cephalid Breakfast.
We play a couple of turns, all I could manage to produce was a Crucible of Worlds and a Trinisphere. My opponent has 4 lands and a Lotus Petal. On his turn, he taps 3 lands to cast a Summoner's Pact, searching for either the Nomad or the Cephalid, I can't really remember. Anyway, he couldn't get his combo out, because he needed at least 1 more mana (he had Aether Vial for the other creature). So he passes the turn to kill me on his next turn. I play Armageddon, go. GG.![]()
If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's probably delicious.
Team ADHD-To resist is to piss in the wind. Anyone who does will end up smelling.
I was having fun with a strange version of Counterbalance+Painter (perhaps the one with Artificer's Intuition), and he was playing TheRock BGW.
He has double goyf on the table, i have painter and cb without top with an uncracked fetch, and a brainstorm with some crap in hand.
He goes stp on my painter, i go CB--->blind flip: pithing needle. Countered.
He goes vindicate on my painter, i fetch and go CB--->trinket mage. Countered.
I draw trinket, fetch grindstone, pass.
Turn after, he swings with his goyf, i block one with a trinket but i'm low at life. He tries to stp AGAIN painter, i go CB---> blind flip: sensei's divining top. Countered.
I then proceed milling him the turn after, he "System:Player Loss"s immediately , and i felt i could hear him through the LAN wires snoring, from wherever he was, "fucking counterbalance. Stupid WotC".
Ah, i also heard this somewhere: Player A is playing ANT with Tops, Player B threshold.
Player A has ritual, ritual in hand, and 2 lands, a LED a top on the board.
He scrys top3 with sensei's, finds ad nauseam, and decides to go for it:
Ritual, Ritual, taps top to draw AdNos, in resp cracks LED for UUU.
Opponent: "stifle top's drawing ability".
GG.

So I'm playing in Grand Prix: Philadelphia with Solidarity. It's day two, and I'm paired against Landstill.
We're in game three, in turn four (his) and his hand has five counterspells (active), while I have seven cards in hand and two Flashes in the graveyard.
I play High Tide (resolves), then play Reset floating a bunch of mana (I have almost all of my Islands in play). He says fine. I then proceed to play Meditate, Meditate, Twincast, Twincast, Meditate (all of which have Counterspells targeting them). With no cards left (in either of our hands), I Flash for twelve. Find and play Twincast. Resolves, drawing me Force, Brainstorm, Fetch, Fetch. I hardcast Force on one of his counters, letting me draw another four.
Nothing. I then Brainstorm hitting Opt, Peek, Brain Freeze. Put back two lands, but now I'm short on mana. Think for a long time, and just Freeze him for his deck. Confused, he flips his deck into his 'yard and says, "go?". I tell him to take his Meditate'd fifth turn of time. :)
I'm playing The Red Tide against a guy playing some kind of multicolored Burn/Sligh type deck. It's game one, but he already knows I'm playing Solidarity. I'm kind of low on life with two uncracked Fetches (and three other Islands), and he thinks for a long time and proceeds to play Price of Progress (if I crack the Fetches, he can kill me with the Bolt effect he has in his hand, I think it was Lava Spike). I look at his lands of Taiga, Taiga, Barbarian Ring (with no extra mana if he's going to Bolt me), and one other nonbasic. I think for a long time, and notice that I don't have any card draw in my hand except for a Cunning Wish.
After thinking for even longer, I proceed to play High Tide. Activating one of the Fetches that I have. After shuffling, I activate the other, but with that one on the stack, I Twincast, the Price of Progress (dealing him eight damage), I then Twincast it again. I then let my fetch resolve finding me a Volcanic. I Reset, and play Cunning Wish for Sudden Shock. Death. That's what you get for activating two fetchlands against Solidarity. Instant speed death. LOLZ. I loved The Red Tide.
I'm playing Europe and my opponent is playing a pile of various cards that amounts to sixty. On turn two, I play a Dark Confidant, and then again on turn three. I then proceed to destroy every land he plays, and counter every single spell. Couple of turns later, my opponent is at two, while I'm at a healthy sixteen (Bob's been amazing, and I've hit all four Brainstorms). So, what do I flip on the last turn? Double Tomstalker. Thanks Bob Maher. You killed me when my opponent literally didn't have a board. Why do you hate Europe?
Everybody has good Bob stories. Like the time Dave Price died to me when I was mind bogglingly mana screwed thanks to a single Dark Confidant.
For the foreseeable future, expect to see less of me. I've lost my internet connection, and so I'll only be able to get on by siphoning free Wi-Fi from the surrounding areas. Which isn't always consistent.
Plus, the guy that I used to leech off of has now instituted password protection. This means that I effectively do not have internet at home. :(
I was playing against Peter_Rotten at the local 1.5 tournament back when the format was AMAZING. It is game 2 and P_R is playing Dragon and myself playing some random deck. He goes for a quick combo and says "Combo for the win." Being a pissed off and kinda a jerk I want him to go through it and turns out he sided out his win cons for more sideboard hate and he just scooped them up. Needless to say he stopped doing such things in Albany shortly thereafter.
And then next game you played three with no top out while I was beating with a goyf each turn and you didn't die.
edit: Also a long time ago I was playing RGBSA and Gearhart was playing solidarity. I mull to 5. Several turns in I play a duress and he goes off in response, spends tons of time drawing cards etc.... About 5 minutes later he asks me what the storm count was. I told him I stopped counting when it was well past lethal. He keeps asking me and I try to go back and count it but it was impossible and I tell him that it's lethal. He's got like 12 cards in hand. After about another 5 minutes of him counting cards and shuffling his hand and counting his graveyard and trying to get me to scoop so he doesn't have to go through all the steps he finally let's my duress resolve. His hand is nothing but land and mana producing effects and he has absolutly no play. It was pretty douchy of him but he does it cause it works some times.
