Given that you're concerned about casting costs, why is this not Tin Street Hooligan? The red should almost never be a concern.

As for enchantments, there's still Viridian Zealot and Indrik Stomphowler. Indrik costs 5, but having a couple cards up on the cc isn't going to kill you. Bob is run in blue decks with Force of Will and they don't seem to mind at all.
