With the spoilage of Platinum emporion

Platinum Emperion 8
Artifact Creature - Golem
Your life total can't change.
8/8

my mind has been consumed with making a deck that abuses the Platinum creatures, in the fact that the deck is more concerned with not losing than locking the opponent out. Yes i know not the all around best strategy, but a fun one, both for you and your opponent (assuming you have a soul). Anyway I was brainstorming the best ways to get the big boy up there and his more feminine cousin Plat Angel out and came up with Goblin welder. Now welder isn't wide spread in legacy because its so vulnerable. I can't change that fact so i have to ensure that i can get out my giants without it; so i turn to metalworker.

Shit my deck relies on the survival of two shroud less creatures, in order to get out other shroud less win-cons...unfortunate but i wrote this much god damn it so i can keep going.

Anyway here's the deck i came up sans side board (i actually have to get the cards and play test them before i can hope to understand all the weak points i need to plan for, i.e just play another deck) , and ill explain my card choices as i make them

Platinum Stacks

Basically colorless deck, best land acceleration there is:
4 Ancient tomb
4 City of traitors

Red Mana Sources for Goblin Welder, 4 artifact lands for metal worker and basics against wasteland;
4 Great Furnace
4 Mountain

lands that beat;
4 Mishra's Factory
2 Muta Vault

The platinum warriors, the stars of the deck;
4 Platinum Angel
3 Platinum Emporion

The way to get my platinum beasts out. Also the welder can keep interchanging them so they can avoid removal (i.e in response to STP sac Emporion get Angel)
4 Goblin Welder
4 Metal Worker

Some usual stack distruption (again more fun with the welder);

3 Lodestone Golem
3 Trinisphere
3 Chalice of the void
3 Tangle Wire

More mana acceleration plus the mox's provide more red for the welder. I also think this deck runs enough artifacts to warrant the opals;
4 Grim Monolith
2 Mox opal
2 Mox diamond

Weird shit;
3 Lightning greaves - This way i can give my welder shroud long enough for him to get a platinum into play and then give that plat shroud making it harder for me to lose the game.

P.S.

If room can be found for ensnaring bridge, i think it would make a fine addition to the deck.
------------

So basically that is the deck, the strategy is simple; play must remove/counters over and over again. As bad as the plats are, they have to be answered unlike other fatties which can be avoided, these have to be accounted for, same goes for welder and for some decks chalice/lodestone/tangle wire/ etc.

I can't really post anymore, this deck is just a fevered dream atm, and until i actually build it and play with it it will remain. But till then in theory please tell me what you think. I'm pretty sure with left field decks like these its perfectly acceptable to tell me how much it sucks and STFU .

Anyway thanks any comments are appreciated.
