So you are saying that dnt's best plays of turn 1 vial, turn 2 Thalia off of cavern, turn 3 recruiter off of cavern into an Ethersworn Canonist/containment priest vialed in is just...not...good enough against combo? It feels like you may be wrong.
Edit: I apologize if that came across as rude, I was at work and just in a hurry. I do think, however, that DnT has game, quite a bit actually, against combo. Sometimes you can't beat a turn 1 EtW for 6 storm. Sometimes Griselbrand off of a turn 2 Show n Tell with Force backup gets there. However, there are plenty of games where cantripping multiple times and getting ported/wastelanded into having to waste the cantrips finding more lands is enough time to vial in or draw into the creatures that do impact more than the board state, and do grind those games out.
