Ok it is a port from the extended deck.
The combo is through the breach+protean hulk
or sneak attack+ protean hulk.
Lot of decks are possible the deck is in development but i think something competitive can be done.
Here is the list i have in head
4 ancient tomb
4 city of traitors
10 mountain
4 chrome mox
4 seething song
4 simian spirit guide
4 protenan hulk
4 summoner's pact
4 through the breach
4 sneak attack
4 chalice of the void
4 trinisphere
1 reveillarc
2 body double
2 carrion feeder
1 mogg fanatique
This a combo deck that win can win turn two and lot of turn three kills.
Something interesting is that you have the same mana base than dragon stompy you could do something like that for the sb
4 magus of the moon
3 blood moon
4 arc slogger
4 pit dragon
Maybe if you were able to compact the combo portion of the deck a little bit more, you could maybe just have an alternate board for dragon stompy, but as it stands now there is absolutely no reason to play this deck.
You have something like a 40% chance of drawing both combo pieces (counting Pacts as Hulks) in your opening hand, and no draw, dig, or manipulation whatsoever. That's not going to work out.
SummenSaugen: well, I use Chaos Orb, Animate Artifact, and Dance of Many to make the table we're playing on my chaos orb token
SummenSaugen: then I flip it over and crush my opponent
It is just an idea for the deck maybe we could go a completely different direction. It is for discussing the combo protean hulk+sneak attack or through the breach.
The combo looks good compare to something like aluren for example
5CC needs two cards but you have eight of each.
Maybe we have to splash blue .
if you lose to graveyard hate and we want to make an auto-win combo with just 2 cards you're just reinventng Cephalid Breakfast.
altought breakfast needs a 1cc en Kor and a 2CC cephalid to close the game...
if you want to play a combo deck which loses to graveyard hate (or anyway if you're going that way) the best idea is to play the cephalid
Is it possible to put a sneak attack into a dragon stompy deck? What would it change? I think that you would have to add more beefy creatures with CiP effects, and some more Magi and small disruptive creatures. Can this be done?
