Legacy tournaments starting in October, every two weeks. Saturday at 7PM. $5 entry. Store credit for top 3.

The store itself has a great selection of cards, very organized. I used to play T1 there a few years back, and the atmosphere was very friendly then.
Huh, I used to go to this place when they had tourneys on weeknights. It was a really good crowd. I went to their website though and didn't see the aformentioned saturday night tourneys. Are these actually still going on?

At TJ Collectables in Milford, MA, about 10-15 minutes south of the I-495/I-90 intersection, (www.tjcollect.com), they run a regular unsanctioned Legacy weekly on Saturdays at noon ($5 entry). It's unsanctioned because of... 30-minute rounds, 4 rounds every time, and time ending *at* 30 minutes. Turnout is typically 16-24 players, but upwards of 40 on busier days (like at a release). They may be shifting in the near future to a sanctioned Legacy, but that has yet to be determined. They held sanctioned summer Legacy on Wednesday nights last summer.

When: Every Sunday except the 1st Sunday of the month at 1 PM (note - there is a type 2 tournament 1 Sunday in April as well)
    Entry Fee: $4
Attendance: 12-20 (lower end of range recently)
    Structure: 4 rounds
Prize: 1 pack per player in prize pool, top 50% win at least 1 pack

These are sanctioned tournaments. Check Wizards tournament locator to make sure there's a tournament that day.

There have been 1.5 tournaments for at least 5 years at the store - maybe longer.

1st Sunday of the month is draft, Friday Night is type 2 (FNM - starts at 6:30 PM)
Does anyone noe if this place is still around? there are no legacy tournys in sf! =[

    Re: Weekly 1.5 tournaments - Where's yours?

    City: Glen Ellen
    State: Illinois
    Location: College of Dupage (Cafeteria)
    425 Fawell Blvd
    Day: Monday
    Time: Start 6:30
    Entry Fee: $5
Prize: 2 packs per entered, payed out to top 3 or 4 if a lot of people show.

Fyi: The tournament is run by a level 1 judge, with various judges from level 0-3 sometimes playing, so if you have any questions or problems they can be solved.
This tournament has been going on weekly for over 6 years now with various players coming and going, but the crowd that is around now is very solid.

Some of the players in the area have sportsmanship problems, but we just usually laugh at them when they throw a tantrum anyways.

Another FYI: I am trying to start up a Wed night Type 1 tournament allowing for 10 proxies with cash going in and cash going out. Once we hold our first tournament we will be deciding on cost of entry and prize split amounts. If your in the Chicago suburbs and are interested feel free to stop by our type 1.5 tournament on Monday.
