I have money and a possible deck, looking more to see if i can get that day off or not.
If not, then i'll be slaving away earning money.
If so, I'll be playing and trying my best not to scrub like the whole albany crew did last time.
Team Albany: What's Legacy?
You cannot know the sweetness of Victory, without first dwelling in the agony of Defeat.
Bring them with you. Even if they dont have decks, i'm sure there will be enough people with extras running around that we could find something good for them to play... or by "teaching magic" do you mean its still in the "this is the tap symbol, it means to turn a card sideways" type of teaching?
Be there or be [ ].
They are in the "why do I need small creatures in my deck when I have these big creatures that hurt more?" Team slay and Lego isn't even that bad.
I think I am going to just get rid of the crap I am not playing with at the Prerelease and go and kick the **** out of somebody with my jank deck at Kevin's tourney.

I ran a free for all and one of the players didn't have room for the lands so he did not put them in there. One player built an elf deck with 4 wellwishers and gained over 600 lives, one player had a 85 card deck with 6 asst.Tims and a Silent Arbiter. This is why noobs never play in tournaments. This is also why we do not see certain magic players on the source who frequently post about everyone else going and what the decklists were before the tournament ends.

This is why we need more scrubs playing in these tournaments so that the good players can get random byes.Originally Posted by insertnamehere

We meaning who? You. Byes only give you better players in the next round unless you are talking about the last round because that player is sucking wind. I myself do not intend on sucking wind. Speaking of noobs, I have not seen any noobs at Kevin's tournaments since he opened. Are you coming this weekend or is your newest concoction not built yet.

I'm still waiting for cards in the mail so I think I'm not going to be able to make it. Maybe next month's tourney.![]()
P.S. - Bill, I need 4 Magus of the Moon, 1 Elvish Spirit Guide and 4 (black bordered) Tormod's Crypt. I'll either buy or trade for them, if you aquire them, by the next time I see you.
There is no such thing as a bye in a Magic tournament when someone is sitting across from you. You should take every opponent across from you seriously, no matter what they're playing. I give my opponents more respect than that.
We all used to be scrubs at one point.
I agree. If you a treating certain players as byes, then your not even close to becoming a good magic player. Good players take all opponents seriously, so they minimize on losing to matchups they should win.
A lot of it has to do with your mind set, determining if your an average player or a good player.

Well team left field will be there so all you Hadlians only have 4 or 5 sots in the top 8 to vie for. Figure out who they will be and have fun losing.

After realizing that it cost me half a tank of gas (well almost) to go to the Wareham tourny last weekend, i would realy like to find some people that are going from worcester with who to split the gas expenses of going to this thing.
Send me a PM if you're interested in either getting or giving a ride to this from Worcester.
