Please, Shane - It's NLDW. Nourishing Lich Deck Wins.

Also, I was looking for a playset of Nourishing Shoals and Nefarious Liches in an asian language - Ebay doesn't have any.

Is there wireless at Play the Game? I kind of want to do a running report, with some pictures and everything. This should be pretty epic.

Oh, sure, I do it and now everyone wants to .

In all seriousness though, this would be incredibly awesome and I heartily endorse the idea.

    Breaking News Update:

Brendan "I call Zach embarrassingly early after he's spent the entire last night contemplating proposing to Amanda Tapping via snail mail" O'Dowd will be arriving at what could generously be called my apartment shortly. I don't know if anyone else cares about this, but he freaking woke me up like.... four hours before I'd have liked. Anyway, trash talk in list form:

    • Virginia:
      • My spurned offer of room and negligible board will (hopefully) load me up for some savage, karma-fueled beats. Like, the kind of "first round at the last Hadley" style beats.
    • Ohio:
      • I could care less if this is where emdiliion is coming from - I'm honestly way more concerned about Media314r8 and his crew. They were pretty cool when last we met, but I haven't heard from any of them. So... I'ma beat all your asses, but it'd be a pleasure to see you (that I might beat your ass)
    • Massachutsuettes players (yeah, I'ma disrespect you and make an issue of my terrible spelling in one move. Top that, suckas):
      • I really don't have anything against you. I guess I could go with the obligatory "your favorite deck sucks" comment (useless trivia: I was recently thinking of cool stuff that could be stenciled on a playmat, and came up with "The EPIC Syndicate" and then in smaller letters below it, "P.S. - we've got decks like Jesus"), but I'm impressed that your teenage selves were able to make it out here (be ready for us to drop all of the terrible jokes we were until recently able to dump upon Bryant all over your asses). Pre-Slops go to the rest of Slaygo or whatever they're calling their team - I drive out for you suckers.
    • EPIC:
      • I'd consider a top four split when Bryant, Myself, Trevor, and.... Nat? Is Jim coming? How about a top 8 with Adam, Abold, me, Bryant, Jim, Nat, Trevor, and Colin. That'd be nice.

    Top 8 Predictions:
    3 Nourishing Lich
    2 Not-Quite-Dreadstill
    1 Geoff-Smelski's-Mom-Deck-Wins
2 Actually properly registered deck names
    Dave Price in ninth.

Welcome to the real world. He got up when I woke up. It's not his fault you don't have a job.

I'm excited for this thing, but much moreso for the birthday outing afterward. Does anyone have an idea of what we can do with the underage kids while the big kids are out?

Re: 07/19/08 $1000 cash prize Legacy Play the Game

I can't go to this tourney for the following reason:

Me (in May): Can I borrow the car the weekend of July the 19th to drive 3 & a half hours South to go to Syracuse.

My dad (in May): Sure shouldn't be a problem.

    ...

Parents (late June): We are going on vacation and taking taking the car on the weekend of July the 19th.

Me: But you said over a month ago I could have the car that weekend.

Parents: We'll let you have it for the next big tournament.

    Me:

When I though I could still make it to this tournament I checked the mall's website.

I see this and go WTF? Then later on when the family was vacationing in Buffalo/Niagra Falls we stop at the Walden Galleria mall in Buffalo and there is a sign stating the same rule.

Yeah it's kind of funny when someone under 18 wants to get food or visit another store, they have to ask someone of age to come with them.

    Top 8:
    1 UGr Tempo Thresh
1 Dreadstill (Say what you want Zach, but seriously try and keep Roodmistah out of top 8, I don't think he's ever not top 8'd...)
    1 Ichorid
    1 Imperial Painter
    1 T.E.S.
    1 RGBSA
    1 GWBr Survival

Tell you what, Tom (I don't want to condescend here, but I'm not honestly 100% positive that your name is Tom. But I'm pretty sure - this isn't supposed to be one of those, "Tom, is it? Tom..." talks): If your boy top 8's I'll buy you dinner (at a fast food place, not like Uno) at the mall.

Additionally, I hope that you realize that, in predicting that Imperial Painter will top 8 you are saying that Mike "Hollywood" "A_Legend" Kellar will top 8. Which is cool, and all. Except that he isn't an EPIC member, and I done said we're taking all 8 spots.

There shouldn't be an "e" at the end of "line" in "line-ers"; it's one whole word. We get it, you can't spell properly. Now finish 7th grade before returning to this thread.
