It'd probably be better if all cards were sent to one location.

It'd be interesting to know how many (active) Sourcers are from Europe - would it be viable to hold a second Anniversary Tourney there ? Also, the idea of then having an online Top4 or Top8 with the best two or four of each Tourney combined sounds nice (and wouldn't be hard to organize at all).

I'd be for Germany as the place to hold it of course (being from Austria myself ).

I've already begun collecting donations for the event. If you're interested in contributing to this, please feel free to PM me. A few people have already done so, and I assure you I'll be responding as soon as I can. I'm buried right now, but I'll get back to you ASAP.

A 31 year old screaming "Reading FTW"... It's people like you that make Magic the Gathering Tournaments unenjoyable.

It's not that I didn't read, but rather it was wishful thinking. It wasn't set until stone until now. I don't plan on driving 14 hours to spend a day with hundreds of 4channers, thanks.

Yeah, why drive 14 hours to spend the day with a bunch of people that have helped this site and format from 1.5 to now grow and evolve becuase of a few people who play wow that like to say "FTW!"... hell, Peter_Rotten says FTW. If people kicking back, having fun, and enjoying a common love for this game makes tourneys unenjoyable... I'd hate to see a tournament that you found "fun." Instead, you can stay in whatever hole you've already got for yourself and pass up what will likely be one of the biggest, best, and most enjoyable tournaments this format has seen outside of the GPs.

Btw... Your Neighbor is probably a /b/tard.

A 14 hour drive is nothing. I was part of a crew that drove to Daytona from Syracuse for the weekend to play in a Grand Prix and it was a blast. Every large Legacy event I have attended has been a fun experience, no matter if I were playing or judging or just hanging out. Sourcers are great, but part of my point with the previous post is that we are all still Magic players and at out hearts we are all lazy bastards who only listen when we want to, only hear what we want to, and only read if we need to.

Some of that was lost in the translation. My bad. As for "FTW," I was unaware that being 31 I am not able to use internet abbreviations. Lo Siento. At what age is the cut-off, for future reference...? [/Sarcasm]

I keep hearing that, especially from my teammates. The fact that my birthday is coming up doesn't help things. Oh, well. My sign on hasn't been changed to "Old Balls" yet, so I guess all is well, for now...

This is almost too convenient, as I'll be at Geneseo next year. I'll be there, hopefully with space on the floor?

All of the prizes, that I know of, have been donated by Sourcers and the stores that support the Source (and vice versa.) A lot of the above has been donated by Adepts, and I know Off the Wall games had offered help in any way possible, as well as Ray from the Waterbury (I believe) tournaments.

This is for real, guys. We're not fucking around.

New jobs suck... especially when they are in Virginia and I could obviously hitch a ride if I had the time off... I hate companies not giving vacation time for the first 6 months.... Still, I'm gonna try my ass off to get to the tourney that I should be at considering I am from Syracuse.

Unfortunately I just sold most of my collection so I can't make a huge donation at the moment, but I'll be donating a Foil Hammerfist Giant signed by all of team Hammafist. [also something less huge like a set of duals once I get cards again]
