TL,DR: if you think Saito is ok, check your moral compass. It may be broken. - Spikey Mikey, amen brother
WE know what the price of progress is (often 8-10 life). - Cait Sith
A casual stasis deck? You must not really like your friends. Do you play it before or after you pull the wings off of flys and microwave the neighbor's cat? - EwokSlayer
:t:, Pay 1 life, Sacrifice Windswept Heath: Search your library for a Forest or Plains card and put it into play. Then shuffle your library.
If you respond to the fetch, your responding at the colon for the card, and if you note the fetchland has already been sacrificed. So no they won't take damage from your Price of Progress.

A fetchland is basically one of those things PoP will never hit on it's own. However, the trick of a fetchland sacrifice also works for decks packing PoP and Wasteland.
That trick I always used was to sacrifice my Wasteland, targeting an opponents non-basic, then hit PoP while the ability was on the stack. They get hit for the 2 damage, and I don't. Good times.
