I went 4-2 with moon-and-top thresh, I was pretty happy with it, especially as I won the 9-16 draft for a drain.You guys need to get better at limited if a scrub like me can do well.

Sucks, man. I picked up a playset of foil Japanese Grim Reminders, though. So shoot for ninth at the next event I'm at and you'll be handsomely rewarded.

I don't know how much better my record could have been, or if it could have been better, but round four I probably could have beaten Alix Hatfield (sp?) if I hadn't misplayed terribly third game. Landstill is simply not a fun deck to play against regardless, though.

second event running dreadstill, deck ran amazingly well all day, avoided any play mistakes.
felt good to 4-0-2 through rounds, felt bad going out in top 8 against the one deck i didn't want to play, even though i beat him 2-0 in 3rd round.

Does anyone have any information on the Merfolk lists? Like, were they running CB or not? B2B? Stifle? Waste/Port? Mono U or splash?
I drew vs Anthony Corta round 5 but we played for fun. His list was mono blue with mutavaults to pump wake thrasher.
No wastes, ports, back to basics, or splash.
This hurts me almost as much as it hurts you. Its still nice to see the deck out and about.

I doubt he "lucksacked" his way into top four. This game DOES require some sort of skill. I heard you scrubbed or something like that? If Syracuse is a more difficult metagame (which I'm not going to doubt), what the hell does that make you?
Syracuse doesn't play legacy anymore.
Survival will be good forever... kinda like a maraschino cherry.
