I look forward to testing this. It looks awesome. Initial thoughts.
Seems like Relic trumps crypt here, especially because the rock is the main matchup where you are bringing in the crypt. Sure, it might hit a Hammer every now and again, but most of the time, it's going to shrink potential tarmogoyfs, cantrip, and blunt life from the loam way more effectively. It's also much better against the Martyr/Proc decks because they put so few cards into the yard.
Splash damage- Decks are already bringing in CoP and Forgetender's in against everything from burn to swans. CoP's aren't that bad with your stuffy doll, but forgetender's seem scary out of zoo. I don't really have an answer for them blanking your wraths except maybe to play more wraths.
Burn's sulfuric vortex plan is going to trump your sun droplets. Shunt's sweet, but I worry it's not enough.
Swans just seems terrible if they know what you're doing. They've got gigadrowse and you don't really have a clock. They aren't going to drop a swans against a deck with skred until you're tapped out. But meta's will differ, maybe you just don't hit it. Do you really bring in Droplets here?
Blood moon is great, but I've definitely read that decks are adapting to it. Like Artowis, I'm not sure that Tron falls in the top 6-7 decks. Maybe you just want molten rain?
Nihil mostly covered this, but put simply;
If the top two cards are land, and you Sheet, that's still only one turn you're drawing land versus two.
If one of the top two cards of your library is land, you have a 50% chance of drawing it without Sheets and a 0% chance with Sheets.
If they're both business, you're good anyway.

How bad would Browbeat be here? Is it really a bad card all around?
The deck doesn't go for the throat, so there's just no pressure early on to make Browbeat playable. If I were to run card draw, I'd think about something like Illuminated Folio, or possibly Bottled Cloister + Ensnaring Bridge.

Took me like 20 minutes on MWS to beat some guy. Slow to actually move through the deck, but fast games as its pretty simple to play. IBA's ROF is my fav red deck of all time.
I've found, in a Legacy MRC very similar to this, that Chandra's planeswalker-ness is a surprisingly large burden when you plan to burn out Tarmogoyfs. Has this never happened to you, or are there no Tarmogoyfs in Extended?
Ughhhh... I like this deck, but it seems like the burn matchup is unwinnable. Any suggestions? I don't think 4 droplets is gonna cut it, especially since every burn deck in the universe plays 4 maindeck vortexes. I guess the solution is: don't play against burn.
Have you considered greater gargadon or the suspend card that is like wheel of fortune?
IBA, I was going to write a book in here, but I PM'd you instead. Something can be written in the thread if you think any of my ideas are worth looking at.
EDIT: <- THIS. Keep using it when you want to add new content instead of adding more posts.
Forgot coldsteel heart (snow permanent!) in my PM! Me likey!

Ugh, it goes without saying that your tps match up is basically unwinnable. Any ideas on that matchup?
Pyrostatic Pillar? Trinisphere?
I'mma be honest, it's not the deck I would've wanted to show up on everyone's radar early on in the season.

man i loves me some MRC but i am not sold
i cant see getting a positive matchup against deathcloud/cloud-less loam/ravencrimes.deck ( although bloodmoon is a beast against them) or storm
volcanic fallout over slice and dice? trade is 1 more dmg or draw a card, damage with stuffy in play is the same
what does it kills the SnD doesnt.... Tidehollow Sculler, venser, nettle sentinal, teeg, hedge-mage, frogmite, omnithropter, ( does finks count?),
list seems big enough to make the swap

This is the list I'm going to play at Grand Prix Hannover:
// Lands
20 Snow-Covered Mountain
4 Scrying Sheet
// Creatures
4 Spitebellows
2 Chandra Nalaar
2 Stuffy Doll
// Spells
4 Skred
4 Incinerate
4 Magma Jet
4 Starstorm
4 Blood Moon
3 Hammer of Bogardan
3 Slice and Dice
2 Word of Seizing
// Sideboard
4 Relic of Progenitus
4 Shattering Spree
4 Sun Dropplet
2 Word of Seizing
1 Shatterstorm
I'm expecting a lot of Affinity, Austrian Faeries, Elves! and some NLU, Storm and Zoo. This deck cannot beat Storm, but's pretty amazing against the rest of the field.
Is Blood Moon the best choice?![]()
You guys are going to need something for storm combo, Teps would run this deck over hc.
You can't win against TEPS with this deck, really. You simply can't.
Even with a LOT of hate, your opponent has got a lot of time to recover (due to the absence of any clock).
You could run Chalice of the Void, Pyrostatic Pillar and Trinisphere, but I doubt their usefullness.
Especially in a Grand Prix format, it's fine to have just one autoloss and focus on stomping the rest of the field. Don't bother about TEPS.

Seriously, why isn't this deck running Demigod? It's one of the best pure win conditions ever printed.
Because in this deck, Chandra and Stuffy Doll are better. They function as control elements themselves and are more resilient.

I don't think this comment is right anymore, since every deck and their mother runs Jitte to kill Stuffy Doll, along with a set of Path to Exile, and Chandra alone isn't worth it imo. I've been changing this deck up some since I'm pretty sure the meta has completely changed since it was made.
Trying to keep this as creature controlling as possible, while beating the top decks aside from TEPS (storm combo has only 4 cards dedicated in the sideboard, so hope to god you hit one).
Here's my new list that is running very smoothly but needs 2 cards:
2 OPEN SLOT![]()
// Lands
20 [CS] Snow-Covered Mountain
4 [CS] Scrying Sheets
// Creatures
4 [MOR] Spitebellows
2 [PLC] Akroma, Angel of Fury
4 [SHM] Demigod of Revenge
2 [FUT] Magus of the Moon
// Spells
4 [CS] Skred
4 [FD] Magma Jet
4 [9E] Blood Moon
3 [ON] Slice and Dice
3 [OV] Incinerate
4 [7E] Pillage
// Sideboard
SB: 3 [ALA] Relic of Progenitus
SB: 4 [GP] Shattering Spree
SB: 4 [MR] Sun Droplet
SB: 4 [SC] Pyrostatic Pillar
I took out Starstorm since either A: I'm playing against a faerie deck that has way too many counterspells for it (Mana Leak or Cryptic), or B: I'm playing against something with Goyf, so wait till I have 7 lands to play it (i.e. dead) or Wild Nacatyl which I lose to by turn 5 anyway since they have multiple creatures or goyf or burn. For win conditions, I've tried to skrew over PtE and control decks, since we can mostly stall other decks out until we hit enough lands.
Pillage is necessary for Jittes, this deck just cannot win to a charged Jitte. It's also amazing synergy with Blood Moon to stop people's goyfs, or just to get a general mana screw going. It's like Vindicate since no one plays enchantments and there's hopefully enough burn for killing their creatures.
Moon effects got pumped to 6 since killing Mutavaults is amazing vs faeries, Zoo's creatures lose pumps unless they see it coming, and it's just great in general against the format.
So I need 2 slots more of cards right now, preferably creature control. I might just +1 S&D, +1 Incinerate, or another Magus. Anyone who actually plays this have any advice?
Oh, also the reason I'm playing this is that I don't have any of my Legacy cards here in HK, so I will be buying this entire deck for a PTQ in a week and a half. Thanks for any input!
I would fill it with Banefire. Awesome finisher and handles Swans or any other creature that gives trouble.
I would run 4 Slice and Dice at least if you're cutting Starstorm. Maybe Volcanic Fallout.
I think I'd also rather run Bogardan Hellkite than Akroma. Maybe that's a good choice for the open slots too.

Also I should say that I know these people will be here, with these decks (from Singapore last weekend)
+Lee, Shi_Tian [HKG] TEPS
+Li, Cheuk_Yin [HKG] Tezzerator
+Tsang,_Derek [HKG] Aggro Loam
+Wong, Chi_Keung [HKG] Bant Aggro
+Chick, Hoi_K [HKG] Astral Slide
I've heard that only about 20 people show up to PTQs here, so I can expect that for competition. Stupid varied field.
I don't know about Banefire. I'm looking for some creature control mainly... or possibly something else, but since I apply no pressure until I drop a win condition, I don't see myself winning with Banefire. And then I'm going to have to play like 6 to kill a Goyf, which doesn't help since I'm dead by then.
I haven't seen swans on MWS or heard of any around here, is that decks still popular?
Right now I've just seen burn (ouch) Faeries (above 50% but not by much), Aggro decks (depends on which, but usually over 50 pre board, less than 50 post board), and random other stuff and tezzerator (this crushes)... and one death cloud but lets never speak of that again.
EDIT: S&D is probably going to get the extra slot, but then I still have 1 open slot. Bogarden is better as a creature, but being PtE proof as well as counterproof (which is huge after waiting at least 10 turns, since they save up cryptic + mana leaks + flashfreeze or whatever its name is. Venser is a bitch though.
Volcanic Fallout is good, but doesn't do anything against zoo as they all have 3 toughness butts. As for Firespout, it doesn't hit faeries which is highly desirable for me.
EDITEDIT:
Also, Thank you IBA for making a deck that I don't need to sell my organs for.
