You know, you'd think that top 8 at GenCon wouldn't be what you'd call "secret", but despite my best efforts I can't seem to find a single link to the top 8 of that tournament, either here on the Source or at wizards.com

edit - But apparently they're on Starcity.

lol @ 'Thunderbluff'. Also, he only played 3 Tops, which is amusing to me because now we know that 5 is the right call.

I was listening to the radio this morning and heard an ad for something at the convention center this weekend. I checked the website, and while the GP isn't listed this is...so if you scrub out, you can always hit up the Lake Home and Cabin Show. Woo!

I sincerely hope the results from the GPTs I played last weekend were posted in time. If they are I get 1 bye (assuming I don't try grinders and 5-0 one of them). Hooray!

There is very little love for the greatness that is I. Little known fact about that Top 8, my quarters match took over an hour and a half. The judges told us to pick up the pace but could not actually do anything about it because neither of us were playing slowly. It was the epitome of control vs aggro. Every time he played a goblin, I killed it. G1 he smashed me in about 5 minutes. Game 2 took over an hour and 15 minutes. I won that one. Game 3 he smashed me again in about 3 minutes. It was awesome though.

Either way, I'm winning this GP.***

Eeh...you have the mental capacity of a pea?
    ...your mom uses the stack?
...Cavius designs better decks than you?

Hope that helps. Good luck .

In the name of all those on the continent with the larger Legacy events, I officially demand awesome coverage from your side (assuming Wizard's will suck as always).

Since I'm too poor to make it to Chicago, I'll be posting updates as I get them from VsTheWorld, which will hopefully be frequently.

Yes. I'm going to run the train, on each and every one of my opponents.\

EDIT: Fuck Christmas! I'd rather have a GP every year.
