Re: 3/15/09 CASH Tournament @ The GRID in Manchester, CT

I know I showed up 5 minutes before the tournament started. Good thing my teammate reminded me it started at 12 otherwise I wouldn't have driven 80-85 to get there on time.

I went 1-4 Scrub it up Buttercup. Just one of those days I guess.

I beat Natural Order Discard 2-0 (the guy that top 8ed) in the first round and proceeded to lose: 0-2 to Dragon Stompy, 0-2 to Goblins, 0-2 to Wizards (jitte, mutavaults, stifle, goyf?, clique) and 0-2 to Merfolk. Yes, I was running E Plague, Yes I lost to Goblins with a Plague on the board.

not sure about the last 2.
Not sure how my deck got listed as Goyf Sligh when I don't own goyfs or even dual lands. It was just Mono-Red Sligh. Not really viable, but it's fun to play sometimes and it looks nice since it's all foil, well.....except for those ugly Price of Progresses. It was a great tournament and alot of fun.

No Goyf, the Green was only for Krosan Grip. Your draws were terrible and you couldn't do anything about a Mutavault that was strapped with Jitte.

Yeah, as I said to my 5th round opponent and probably to my 2nd round opponent: I should have just stayed home.

    Thanks for the lists, Karl.

Jaynel- Don't you know how broken River Kelpie is? What are you doing? Cephalid Sage is technology older than Regis Philbin; get on board with the latest tech... Nugget. Congrats on the top 8. :D
