    "Polymorph->Progenitus", UWB-LS shell.

So I'm aware this is a "danger of cool things issue" but screw it, I'll win a tourney with it and "muahaha" at all those "dangers of cool things" out there!

    Here we go:

    Shell:
    4 Standstill
    4 Brainstorm
    4 Swords to Plowshares
    2 Path to Exile
    4 Force of Willl
    3 Spell Snare
    4 Vindicate
    2 Engineered Explosives
    1 Sensei's Divining Top
    1 Jace
    (29)
    Tech:
    3 Bitterblossom
    2 Elspeth, Knight's Errant
    2 Polymorph (alongside 7 manlands)
    1 Progenitus
    (+8=37)

    Land:
    4 Flooded Strand
    2 Polluted Delta
    4 Tundra
    2 Underground Sea
    1 Scrubland
    1 Plains
    1 Island
    1 Swamp
    4 Mishra's Factory
    3 Mutavault
    (23)

    SB:
    3 Tidehollow Sculler
    3 Meddling Mage
    3 Kitchen Finks
    3 Relic of Progenitus
    3 Engineered Plague
    -

So I basically cut 1 EE, 1 Jace, 2 Diabolic Edict and 2 Counterspell from my current Speedstill version and added 2 Polymorph, 1 Progenitus and 3 Bitterblossom.
Now the question to be tackled is, whether this change improves the deck more than it weakens it...
The change makes the deck somewhat less susceptible to CB, Bitterblossom and 3 additional manlands strengthens the control mirror, I think.
And then there's the surprise effect obviously.
The downside is a little less consistency due to dead draws once in a while.
I don't think I'll increase the amount of Polymorphs due to that.

I'm in a rush now. I'll add more thoughts later.
    Crits are appreciated
    Peace!

would it make sense to add more islands and run shackles/sowers instead of the extra 2 removal? this way you can polymorph using opponent's stolen creatures... also if you're going to run bitterblossom, how about enlightened tutor/jitte?

You, sir, will break the format playing that yu-gi-oh Fattie in LS.

Sower doesn't work here, because then you'll usually hit them instead of Progenitus with Polymorph. Threads and Shackles, however, are quite respectable. Personally, I would go with Threads since they not only curve more nicely into Polymorph, but you also don't really need the longterm power of Shackles.

I don't fancy the idea of Threads, since it's rather a tempo card. PtEs increase the chance of being able to drop standstill on turn 2 that's why I'll most likely stick with the config.
I'd probably run the 4th BB over ToD.
I thought about E.T. before but discarded it, Jitte doesn't really belong cause BB's only duty is gaining me enough time to Polymorph or win against control.dec.

I'll test some more and update the first post.

    Thanks for the input!

I'd like to back up the suggestion of using Shackles, it seems like a really strong choice that gives you creatures without turning off polymorph.

I don't know if I were to build this deck if I would use Mutavault its a bit subpar for my taste, obviously you would use it if you were to build this deck.

Decree of Justice seems like it would be really good in here. Did you consider it?

Polymorph haha. Good stuff. I would just try throwing it into a MUC shell instead of landstill. Shackles/threads plus man-lands seem like enough targets to me. Something like this:

    1 Progenitus
    1 Jace Beleren

    4 Ancestral Vision
    4 Ponder
    4 Counterspell
    4 Force of Will
    3 Repeal
    3 Spell Snare
    2 Polymorph
    1 Mystical Tutor

    3 Back to Basics
    3 Propaganda

    2 Powder Keg
    4 Vedalken Shackles

    4 Mishra's Factory
    18 Island

    Sideboard:
    3 Blue Elemental Blast
    1 Spell Snare
    1 Back to Basics
    3 Declaration of Naught
    3 Pithing Needle
    1 Powder Keg
    3 Relic of Progenitus
