Has anyone seen this? I only use Gatherer when a new set comes out and MagicCards.info hasn't updated yet, so this is the first time I've been there in a while. Is this new, or has it been like that for a while?
I haven't messed around with their advanced search options a lot, and it may not be as robust as MC.info, but for general "what's this card do?" searches, Gatherer is sexy as fuck now. Apparently people can also log in, comment on, and rate cards. Which to me means that people can post relevant rulings on cards (sort of like our Interactions and Questions forum). Or they can post ASCII penises. It remains to be seen. I think my favorite part of New Gatherer is the Google-esque drop down suggestions while you're typing in your query.
I just thought people might be interested in look at it.

It's better than the old, but still lacks some functionality.
“It's possible. But it involves... {checks archives} Nature's Revolt, Opalescence, two Unstable Shapeshifters (one of which started as a Doppelganger), a Tide, an animated land, a creature with Fading, a Silver Wyvern, some way to get a creature into play in response to stuff, some way to get a land into play in response to stuff (a different land from the animated land), and one heck of a Rube Goldberg timing diagram.”

It's a bit faster, but magiccards.info is still better (mostly because of speed).
If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's probably delicious.
