They are bleached. This is achieved by putting them into the sun (behind a window) and then after some time the red color goes out. Or so I was told; I just traded for them.

Did the rest of the card become lighter too, it doesn't really look like it. I'd think I'd want to cover everything but the artwork section to keep the whole card from fading.

It would have, as a bleached card sustematically gets rid of colours while leaving blue and black. I don't think they are worth more than normal cards. In fact, I think they're worth less. Usually done to imitate albinos.

There is a guy on magiccardmarket that sells japs Turnabouts for 4 euro each. Not that cheap but a playset at least. Also, those meditates looks awesome ;)

Haha. I've had it for quite a while but never noticed that. Should read my cards a little more closely in the future. Trying to pick up more of these, but it's gonna be tough.



Wanted to post the filler by itself, but realised I don't have such a scan. The filler is a foil #015. First filler which started my filler collection :) The other card is a very discoloured, pseudo-albino Ethereal Champion (normal picture here). This one is definitely legit, and has not been bleached. I've got a similar brainstorm and some other playables that I will post next time.

I was in a local card shop today buying some DnD stuff for me and my kids to play with (they are not old enough to read yet and play magic), well I hear the kid behind the counter say "well we are not buying any cards at the moment due to a lack of funds" I perked up and asked the guy helping me if I could buy them from the customer (if he had said no I would have just followed the dude outside LOL) He told me I was more then welcome but I cant buy them for more then the card shop would pay if they was buying.

But he had a card case from like 1996 or 97 Its an old bright yellow one that said sports cards on it and had a bunch of them fleer sports team stickers on it.

I look inside and thats when I realize both of the goof balls behind the counter dont play magic (they are 40k geeks).

I picked up for $300 (its what he asked for)
