    This is day two of the StarCityGames.com $10,000 Magic Weekend. Join us Saturday for the $5,000 Standard Open and stick around for Sunday's $5,000 Legacy Open.

    Format: Legacy
    Entry Fee: $30
    Start Time: 10:00 AM (Registration begins at 8:00 AM)
    Structure: Modified Swiss with a cut to the T8.
    Head Judge: Adam Shaw (L3)
    K-Value: 32
    REL: Competitive
    Prizes:
    1st: $2,000 & the StarCityGames.com $5,000 Legacy Open Trophy!
    2nd: $600
    3rd-4th: $400
    5th-8th: $200
    9th-16th: $100

    SIDE EVENTS ALL WEEKEND LONG!
    Magic 2010 Casual Drafts
    Entry: $10.00
    Prizes:
    1st Place: 3 boosters (or entry into the next draft)

    Due to requests for a more competitive drafting format, we will also offer:

    REGISTRATION
    Registration begins at 8:00 AM, and ends ten (10) minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Any player who wants to enroll after registration has ended will be able to do so, but will receive a round one match loss. Players arriving after round two has been paired will not be able to enroll in the tournament.

    JUDGING
    Judges interested in working at this event should contact Nicholas Sabin at eventstaffing@starcitygames.com.

    Judge certification for level one is available at this event; interested candidates should make arrangements with Jared Sylva (jared.sylva@starcitygames.com) prior to the event.

    NEED CARDS?
    Buy, sell and trade with America’s largest Magic the Gathering retailer! StarCityGames.com will have a massive dealer booth set up from 8am through 6pm on Saturday! How may we help you?

    TRADING
    While trading is fine, please note that buying/selling cards with anyone except for our authorized dealer(s), or soliciting to do so elsewhere, is strictly forbidden at this event. Failure to obey this rule may result in both the buyer and the seller being removed from the event without refund, and banned from attending future events.

    Star City Events also reserves the right to limit the amount of space being occupied by any one individual while trading, and does not allow the use of suitcases, handcarts, luggage carts, etc. to be used for the purpose of transporting excessive amounts of trade stock.

    Plan on making it to the standard portion now to convince my friends to stay over one more day.

    I loved the philly 5k last year even though I scrubbed out but whatever there was a cheer leading contest in another hall.

    It might be possible for the montreal's crew to come, but it's really not guaranteed, as it's even 2 hours farther than Boston.

    Considering how well the Montreal Crew did in Boston, I can't imagine Philadelphia would be unappealing. ;)

    Such is the randomness that comes along with running events at large convention centers. I've seen more cheerleading/volleyball/glamour contests than you would believe. Weirdest, hands-down, was the Mary-Kay convention I saw once when running an event in Louisville, KY.
