Mangara of Corondor + Karakas/Vedalken Mastermind

Hey,

If u want to use Mangara's ability and return it to your hand with karakas or mastemind or sth else, u gotta do this before u declare target, right?

Or can u declare target and then return mangara to hand?

Declare targets is part of playing the ability. Then with the ability on the stack, you can bounce the Mangara. This allows you to basically blow up a card a turn (if you have anger, or vial) but tap, target, bounce, every turn.

If your opponent plays a spell or ability with the priority you just gave him, you get priority back again and you can return it to hand.

If your opponent just says "Ok" and passes priority as well, then no, the ability resolves and Mangara goes boom.
