GP Boston Roll Call - Syracuse

GP Boston will be M10 Sealed deck format.

With the next GP being Limited and an easy drive from Syracuse, I want to know who is planning on going to this event. Regardless of what format you play, there is no reason to not attend a Limited event. We can use this thread to keep tabs, discuss carpool options and hotel arrangements.

Hotel rates are generally $100/night, so work it out. If you want to go, post here and we can get a running list going. Here is a list of people from Syracuse that I know currently making efforts to go:

    Alex Artese
    Carl Dillahay
    Dave Spector
    Andy Morris
    Kevin Potter
    Bret Weed
    Mike Herbig
    Bryant Cook

    When is this? I'm in.

Oh snap, August 1, I won't be back until the 7th at the earliest. At least you won't have to contend with my limited (capitalized?) skills.

I am going. I already have a van rented for transport and am working with Altered with some way of sponsoring the trip. Here is what is going on:

Altered will have tournaments where you can win a spot on the van. Also, a portion of your entry fee will be covered. That is all I know so far.

Since Wizards has not yet posted the venue for the event, I know that several people are waiting to book hotel accommodations, and such.

I know that Doug McKay is also interested in going, by the way.

I am going. I could drive, I have one other in my car at the time, room for two more. We just need a floor to crash on. My car gets great gas milage. 60 total for gas and 25 in tolls, so about 20 a person in travel expense.

Keep me in the loop. Jared

    Here's the scoop:

Players can earn a spot on the van by either placing first or second in the Big Box Event on 27 June at PtGRtS or by winning any of the M10 Sealed Deck events the two weekends prior to Grand Prix-Boston.

Now, if you earn a spot on the van, you will also have your entry fee taken care of for the Grand Prix.

Now, if only we could get Wizards post the venue.....

I'd much rather ride with a bunch of my friends than some rando-s in the van. Of course, my friends will likely be in the van anyway, but you get the point.

We have a room .3 miles from the venue for Friday and Saturday nights.

Total cost was just over $240. The more that crash in, the less it will be per person.

I plan on driving and have two open spots.

Any Syracuse players need a ride, we still have 2 open spots in the car?
