2) Javier Nunez= White Weenie (Death and Taxes)
3) Brian Rozerro= Bant

Congrats to the above who made top 4 and received prizes. Also congrats to Brian for receiving a round 1 bye to my Mox Birthday Bash on May 30th.
Thanks to all who attended. :-)

9/19 Legacy for a Lotus! http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/s...cy-for-a-Lotus!
Our second official legacy tournament happened with 7 people.
Top 4 was as follows:
1st: Brian Rozerro /w UGW Counter-Top Aggro (lorescale, goyfs)
2nd: Lloyd Anderson with Mono Red Burn
3rd: Dana Renfrew /w Mono U Merfolk
4th: Rod Cordoba /w UW Merfolk
Congrats to Brian for winning a first round bye to my birthday bash.
Top 4 got to pick from a mini-goody table that included survivals, meddling mage, yawg will and other popular eternal format staples. I gave away alot more than I took in, but people seemed happy so that's what I want. The goal is to grow legacy ;)
I've started to include the goody table as a regular prize option at my events and it's been extremely popular. This past Friday's FNM had 40 people and featured a gigantic goodie table that included Maelstrom Pulse, Jitte. Survival and Bitterblossoms.
If weekly Legacy starts to pick up I will be able to have gigantic goody tables set up for that also. I have the inventory for it and no room in the cases right now, so giving it away seems like a good option![]()
If you've been meaning to try some Legacy in New England I think Die Hard Games is a good option for you. I encourage you to come down and see me sometime.
Thanks again for reading.

13 people played in tonight's Legacy.
Top 4 was as follows:
1) William D. /w GB Discard Rock
2) Brian Rozzerro /w UGW Counter Top Aggro
3) Ben Nash /w Goblins
4) Stefan Ellsworth /w UG Brass Counterbalance
A goody table was offered to top 4. Items picked from it included Demonic Tutor, Foil Chandra, Meddling Mage, Survival of the Fittest and Stifle. There were more goodies given out this is just off the top of my head.
Not bad for $5![]()
5th Place on tiebreakers was Rod Cordoba. He received foil Wooly Thoctar and Sprouting Thrinax.
Congrats to William for winning the round one bye to my Birthday bash.
There is still one more bye to go next week.
Alot of new faces appeared tonight, which was awesome.
It's very encouraging to see people I've never met before come play at my store. Some traveled as far as 2 hours away to play in tonight's tournament.![]()
To those who have not come down yet, come on down! :p
Thanks to those made the trip down. I look forward to seeing everyone next week.

Last week we had 14 people. Ben Nash won with Goblins.
I'm hoping for a similar turnout today.
The support for the weekly's has been great.
Thank you again.

9/19 Legacy for a Lotus! http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/s...cy-for-a-Lotus!
6/4 had 11 competitiors.
Top 4:
Aaron Lefkowitz (zoo) vs Brian Rozzero (UGW lorescale Counter Top)
Ben Nash (zoo) vs Scott Blumenthal (TES)
Top 2: Scott versus Aaron (split)
Goody prizes included Vamp Tutor, Tombstalker, planeshift meddling mage, balance and wheel of fortune.
I am re-scheduling my next mox tournament. I was going to have it at the end of June but the date was too soon. I expect a gigantic one mid-july. Once I have that re-scheduled there will be byes given out leading up to that event.
In the mean time, I continue to hold weekly legacy every Thursday and always stack my top 4 prizes. Turnout has been steady between 10-12. Once I get 15-20 regularly I can give prize to top 8.
Thanks again for all of your support and I look forward to seeing you in person.

Not just any Meddling Mage... a Zvi Mowshowitz signed Meddling Mage. These events are pretty awesome for $5 entry, anyone in the area should definitely stop by.
Thank you and I appreciate the continued support.
This past Thursday was a little lower than I hoped for with only 9 people, but the goody table cared not![]()
Top 4 was
Brian Rozzerro with UGW Countertop aggro
Aaron Lefkowitz with Zoo
Ben Nash with Zoo
Jeremy Blumenthal with TES
finals was Brian versus Jeremy.
Brian won.
Goodies given away included Rishadan Port, Wasteland, Tombstalker, spell snares and aether vials.
Hoping to get bigger turnout so i can give out massive goodies. Just picked up 5 lion's eye diamonds![]()
Overall thrilled with the support of legacy players, particularly sourcers.
Will be planning another large mox event shortly.
Thanks again.

You definitely got some stuff mixed up. Neither Aaron nor Ben was there, and I was playing Faerie Stompy, not TES. Also, IIRC, the goodie table consisted of Rish Port, Wasteland, Threads of Disloyalty, Sol Ring, Foil Relic of Prog, and 3 other foils I forget.
Anyways, my brother and I will be there tonight stealing more Top4 spots.

It's tough keeping that thing happy.
Goody Table: Feed me Seymour.
Dave Feinstein: My name is David.
Goody Table: FEED ME.
Dave Feinstein: !
Tonight's legacy had 13 people.
Top 4 was:
Jeremy Blumenthal /w 3 color Loam versus Scott Blumenthal /w UGR Dreadstill (you did both take top 4 spots as promised :p)
Jon /w Landstill vs. Mark Chapman /w Mono U Merfolk
Top 2 was
Scott versus Mark
Teh winner: Mark
Congrats to Mark and all in top 4. Goodies picked from included Yawg Will, Nantuko Shade, Hallowed Fountain, Sacred Foundry, Maze of Ith and Temple Garden.
Thanks to all for attending. I'm looking for a couple more people regularly so I can start paying out to top 8. Pretty soon I'll be scheduling another giant legacy with mad loot in the works :x
Just a reminder that July 11th I have a giant Magic 2010 Pre-release at my location starting promptly at 10:00. July 18th is the launch party starting at Noon. Both will be big events for me and I hope to see you there.
Your support for my store has been great and I sincerely appreciate it.

Hey will there be one on the second. I been looking to play... its been so long.
Call me Ishmael
Hi sorry for the late reply.
There's been one every single Thursday.
The last two weeks had 13 and 10 people, respectively.
Last week Dana Renfrew burned down the house with mono red.
I've been stacking my goodies for top 4 but I'm still yearning for more people so I can cut/payout to top 8. If you're looking to play Legacy come on down Thursdays and bring friends :p
Thanks.

Dave,
How late do the weekly tourneys run? I have a play group of 4-5 that would be interested in some fun, but we live 45 mins away. Two teachers and two organic farmers in the group means we gotta be up early, so I need to know before I make the drive.
Also any word on your next major tourney? Missed the last one and I'm itching to play.
Thanks!
-Eric
Hey Eric.
I would love to see you guys make the trip down, but I have to caution that these tourneys can run into the late night. I always start at 7, and the turnouts have been small in comparison to FNM so 4 rounds max + top 4 have been the norm.
The average end time for the tournament is around 10:00. Finals played it out and the entire tournament ended at 9:30 last week, but that was a small turnout. There was one tournament that went past my closing time (11) a couple weeks back.
I guess what I'm saying is we might end a little late for your particular group. I understand if you can't make it because of that.
The good news is I have an early tournament coming up in about a month...
my mega legacy tournament! =D
I just posted it here:
http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=14152
If you can't make any of the weekly's hopefully you guys can make that one. The 4 weekly's leading up to the mega offer a round 1 bye.
I hope this answered all your questions.
Thanks for the interest in my tournaments.
Take care.
- Dave

Cool! 10pm is not that bad during the summer. I might try to make it by one of the Thursdays but we will be out of town for the tourney on the 8th![]()
Ah well, we will come in force to the next one then![]()
Thanks for all the legacy support. Do you have a web site where I can check your upcoming events?
