For those of you planning on making the trip from Charlotte, allow me to offer you a small tip: you can usually Priceline a three-star hotel room in the Downtown Charlotte area (which is closest to the venue) in the $50-$60 range. Keep in mind that parking downtown can be expensive: some garages downtown will charge you $5 per day, but a hotel parking garage may be up around $10. Just something to keep in mind.
Look forward to seeing everybody there!
wha? what's this?
ok
About seven weeks out, now. I've heard that some folks are able to get ridiculously cheap plane tickets out here (<$200).
I'm going down to VA for biking in Blue Ridge Parkway the week before, so I'm planing on going to this tournament. Do you guys know if there will be somewhere I could sleep and live for around 4 days. I'm currently checking for some hostels, but I'll see.
Thanks,
P-M
Rod Cordoba will be representing Rhode Island, THC(TokinHatsAndClothing.com) &

Im so there. Finally legacy close to college.
Yan L. and me will be there.
We will try to organize a playtest session on wednesday for both standard and legacy players. Probably at the biggest shop in town (not sure which one is it yet).
I'll post it there when I'll have confirmation of place and time.

Three weeks to go, and counting! :D
When traveling to the event, make sure you have good directions! Personally, I recommend Google Maps.
Good news -- all our side drafts are now going to be run in Magic 2010! Also, all win-a-box events will pay out in Magic 2010 boxes!
Both me and Yan will participate on a Standard FNM the night before at Games HQ (3162 Freedom RD, Charlotte, NC).
It starts at 19:00 and they have a website with their phone and everything,
If not, see you guys on saturday/sunday,
P-M
Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend! :-)
Best wishes,
