Is there no card that can burn the opponent while we disrupt their graveyard?

I know it's been beat to death and I understand there's a lot of controversy over it, but I have to ask: Browbeat.
Is it viable at all? More cards isn't a bad thing for this deck, and 5-damage for 3-mana isn't too shabby either. Also, it's easier to sneak it past Counter-Top compared to 1CMC and 2CMC spells.
Yes, you can use it. There is no problem with it in Legacy. However, it is entirely dependent on the deck, player, and meta. Test it out for yourself. If you like it, that's great, if not, too bad. But whatever you do, do not ask for advice at all. As I said, deck, player, meta.
The thing about Browbeat, which I assume is why everyone hates it, is that you never the get the truly desired result of killing your opponent right now. If they are at 5 or less, they will let you draw the cards (and possibly counter whatever you play that is directly relevant to winning). Otherwise, they'll just take the five and be happy with the fact that you just tapped 3 lands. Therefore, it is almost never a good turn 3 or 4 play. So if I'm not going to play it in my first 4 turns, why should I run it? (Please don't reply. We actually are not allowed to talk about Browbeat)
Not to mention, statistics speak for themselves. Browbeat has been doing better in non-burn decks than burn itself. Check out Deckcheck.net
Speaking of which, have you guys seen the most used cards for burn lately? Pretty surprising to me...

Look at the most played cards in the deck type...

I see the Marauders, Fanatics and Hellsparks. No Surprise, though I personally don't want ANY creatures in burn.
Hmmm.. Pithing Needle is a bit odd, but understandable as it shuts down Top.
Also, burn decks need to add Manamorphose. Free cycling once you hit two mana is fun.
volcanic fallout is more popular than flamebreak
Would a splash of Black for Bloodchief Ascension and Bloodghast have any potential, or would that be another deck entirely?
