Proud to announce this will be my first 24-k sanctioned tournament.![]()
Been an advanced level TO for a while, but waited to put request in for higher K value until a really special event came along that warranted it. For me this was it. I was approved and as a result this event will be 24K.
While it's competitive level rel, the emphasis will still be on fun.
I'm sincerely looking forward to this one more than anything I've run since becoming a store owner.
Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and see you on the 12th.

Attached a miniature version of my flyer to the original post in case someone wants one. Posting flyers around the store. Very excited for the combination of RI States and this back-to-back.![]()
Still working on some last minute additions for The Big One. Have a couple things in mind but for now they will remain surprises.
Stay tuned.

Looking like a few of us from CT should be showing up for this thing.
Team Perfect Scrubs: Are you ready?
sounds good =D
It's the holiday season, and I like giving away stuff :p
So I decided to add another $50 in bonus prizes...
DHG Bonus prizes: $50 for 50!
If 50 or more entrants show, $50 in store credit will be added and divided as follows:
$30 Thanks for always being there prize:
There have been 4 players who attended all four of my Saturday legacy tournaments since I took the store over in May. Sam Wang, Tom MacDonald, Rod Cordoba and Dana Renfrew. The highest placing player of these 4 will win $30 store credit in addition to any other prizes won.
$10 Kird Ape prize:
Highest placing finisher with Kird Ape in their deck or sideboard will win $10 store credit in addition to any other prizes won. You can even play just one copy if you want.
$10 Nice to meet you prize:
Highest placing new player will receive $10 store credit in addition to any other prizes won. New player is defined as someone who has not played in one of my prior 4 Saturday Legacy tournaments this year. If you've been meaning to come down but couldn't for whatever reason... come on down!
--------------
Saw local tourneys not getting the crowds they thought they would lately. I'm confident this will be my biggest Legacy tourney ever, but I wanted to add a little more prize just to sweeten the deal.
Thanks again for supporting my events.
This will probably be my final update before the tournament.
See you Saturday![]()

Chess Side event!!!!
Prepare to watch sunshine get mauled by hard wood..
wait...
um... no......
all are welcome to play during rounds or after I suck out(hopefully not going to happen)
TEAM AWESOME
Well, at least we smell better
Speaking of side events, I have some special ones planned.![]()
Will do mah famous $12 sanctioned drafts. For those not familiar, I usually pay out to top 4 people in these single elim drafts. I do a goody table of type 2 prizes and we have alot of fun on Wed. If any go off Sat, I will pay out prizes to all top 8 of each draft.
Also if I don't get 60 people for the main event, I plan on doing side events for those fetchlands. The hope is I just get 60 so I can pay out to top 16.
Remember past 60 people I'll add even more prizes![]()
One final reminder on the time:
I'll be starting at 12 noon sharp on the button. For real :p
For past tourneys I'd be able to wait for latecomers, but it can't be done for The Big One. I'm opening doors at 10, a full 2 hours before start time. I would recommend being here by 11:30 to give yourself time to do decklists, trades, buying things from me :p
Round 1 will go up at noon, so please be here before then.
Was able to get additional room for this event should I need it. Have my staff ready. Have prizes ready. I'm ready![]()
See you Saturday.
