    Meekstone?

The only other thing I can think of that answers both is Oblivion Stone.

Ensnaring Bridge if you can win with Iona online.

The activation of Æther Spellbomb may not be colorless, but the casting of it is. All you need is one source of blue mana and you can bounce either of them.

Protection from Everything prevents Progenitus from being targetted by anything, including the Spellbomb.

Karakas sees play in Classic as an answer to Iona.

+1. I'm testing Tolaria West + Karakas right now in Landstill and it surprisingly doesn't screw much with the course of the game (Tolaria West, to no surprise, still sucks ass).

The only thing that I have every used as a colorless answer to battle Progenitus is Disk, and that didn't come with good results. There hypothetically should be an answer in every color, no?

Edit: Did you think of Ensnaring Bridge for Progenitus?

bone mask, general's regalia, nova pentacle, mourner's shield, pentagram of the ages, prahv, spires of order (sort of colorless), also, any and all circles/runes of prot. shut down prog., though only white handles iona as well.

Use caps please. Thanks. - zilla

    Plague Boiler lol.

Disk is much much much much much better though.

    Tabernacle is good, but unreliable.

    Ensnaring Bridge is second best.

If it wasn't so narrow, I would love the idea of Arena of the Ancients. Good call Hi Val. Makes me want to add one to my boards for the "WTF" factor.

I think this is the best solution, though obviously doesn't beat Iona's ability.

Disk is good, but it's going to blow up some of your permanents too, unless you're playing something like landstill.

Re: Colorless answer to Progenitus, Iona?

Problem with Ensnaring bridge is that you'll fill up your hand if you can't play your spells... And eventually you'll have 7 unplayabale cards in hand and Iona is going to beat you down.

Arena of the Ancients is an awesome tech. As dahcmai said, the WTF factor is pretty much gg.

I don't really see the need of a colorless answer to Progenitus unless of course you want a card that deals with Progenitus and Iona which is quite a lot to ask for.

I lost multiple times with control of an Iona due to Aether Vial (already out) and Umezawa's Jitte fueled counterattacks.

SummenSaugen: well, I use Chaos Orb, Animate Artifact, and Dance of Many to make the table we're playing on my chaos orb token
SummenSaugen: then I flip it over and crush my opponent
