Can't make it. Sorry. Girlfriend came down to San Diego from Arizona. I'm not allowed to play Magic when that happens, lol.

Sean and I are planning on going. I also told a couple friends to hit up Artifex as well. Call me and leave a message if you can make it. If you are going, then I will probably plan on being at your place at around 6 P.M.

See you all at the Pro Tour. If you happen to run into me, tell me where everyone else is.

I'll probably be in the Legacy Event if I make it on time, otherwise I'll be in the sit-n-go's or watching EDH.

I'm not going to make it to today's Legacy side event, but I should be at the one at 4pm tomorrow. I'll be the dude with the all-white-border deck, since my broke ass can't afford foil.

Anyone mind telling me what time the Legacy side events were for this weekend? I'm assuming there are ones for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday? Thanks guys, let me know if there's a source where I can find all the info!

Re: Weekly Legacy Tournaments in San Diego

Hello everyone, I am new to The Source.

I came to this thread in hopes of finding out more about MtG Legacy tournaments in the San Diego area. I have had some bad luck in trying to find people to play against. The last few "tournaments" have not had enough people show up at the shops despite owners telling me there will be.

I have a few decks, have a friend or two that would come along on occasion (especially in a friendly environment with regulars), and would be interested in meeting some new people. I would like to become a regular to a weekly (I'm guessing more realistically a monthly) tournament. I'd be willing to drive pretty far too if I only knew where to go.

Thankfully I was able to make it to the Pro Tour Legacy events and actually got to play, but I am even more eager now.

If someone could please point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
If someone would like to playtest sometime I have the following decks:

    Merfolk
    AnT
    Ichorid
    Goblins
    Dreadstill
    Stax
    Dream Halls

    Thanks in advance,
    Dela

Mostly the gettogethers are at Artifex on Saturdays.

There are always a few people there who play Legacy. I think we should all aim to get a tournament together on the 6th of March.

    Awesome, thank you.

I'll be there on the 6th.

I think we usually go for 6:30. I will be bringing myself and possibly up to two others. Hopefully we can get enough people to show up. I'm just not sure what I'm playing yet...

We've gotten like seven every week, haha. I like just going to hang out either way.

There's a Knightware tournament next weekend I may or may not go (that's finals week, so maybe not?).

OK SAN DIEGO RISE UP!!! lol but for real I was at artifex on saturday i went 4-2 in standard and got 9th lol out of top 8 cause of breakers anyway

I was really there to find legacy players (and even casual vintage) but I really didnt find many although I met another guy named john who was very interested and is down to play.

I would like anyone on these forums to aim me @ n3m0n1c

or private message me so we can set a tournament up I think we should set up a 6-10 proxie rule because lets face it people dont wanna play cause of the price of the cards not the case with me but just saying we play for the game not because people have more money then others.
