Looking forward to this one, Dave. It's a been a too long since I've made it to one of these tourneys.
awesome
Thanks ;)
Definitely looking forward to seeing everyone.
This just in: We will have cable TV for this tourney! It's getting installed on Saturday so now you don't have to worry about missing football!
We also added a third HDTV for the sole purpose of making standings/pairings easier to view, plus the round clock will be displayed prominently on this new monitor.
We've been working towards cable TV and a third television for a while and excited to debut those new features this weekend.
This is really shaping up to being one of our bigger tourneys in a while, and I can't wait.
Hope to see you there.

Haha.
Also we have a 1pm box tourney for standard that is $10 that we hold every Sunday. There should be some people for that despite the many Legacy players I hope to see tomorrow.
Cable might not be coming in until Monday as I just found out, but I'll be able to possibly stream games on our third monitor.
Anyway should be a fantastic day. I'm immensely looking forward to it and thanks in advance to those who are showing.

it's 3 am. i'm wasted. i don't have a deck. but imma getcha.
32 players entered a very tough field. Congrats to Jon Ma (URG threshold) and John Kubilis (GWB Rock) on splitting finals and Nick Wilbur (Goblins) and Al Nota (Merfolk) for third and fourth. Also congrats to the rest of top 8 and thanks to everyone who came.
Due to overwhelming response and an influx of new duals coming in, there will be another one of these sooner than planned. Looks like at least one legacy more in 2010 :)
I'll have pics/decklists/full results up later in the week.
Really had a good time, thanks again.

(cable will be installed next time... I promse :p)

Another great tournament and great people as always. I top 8ed with Ug Merfolk and lost to tempo thresh in the a tough 3 games making a glaring play mistake at the end of game 3 and only seeing 1 sb card in 2 games :-(
decklists?
Also, could we have this tournament reported soon? This should bump my rating above Cicio and I can't start the shit talking till I got the numbers to back it up.
He wasn't always evil...
Ha john for some reason I saw this coming lol. Your lucky I had work cause you know I would have top 4ed. And what did you go? 5-1-1? I'm not sure that's good enough to catch me, it will be close, but it doesn't matter because I won't lose this Sunday and you will go the usual 3-2. So keep dreaming. Maybe if you stopped running bad decks and ran blue cards id respect your play more haha. But I hope your rating is high tho so when I beat you I can win points compared to the usual 3 each round.
Yeah 5-1-1 might not be enough to catch you , but after you scrub out at TE I should be ahead lol. Luckily for you I can't make it there this Sunday to make sure that happens though, so I guess you can leave your composts at home and play a real sb this week lol.
He wasn't always evil...
Scrub out at te? I can't think of the last time that's happened in the last few yrs lol..and I stopped bringing compost cuz ur deck sucks and I beat u anyways with out them, thanks for the heads up tho
Haha, thats funny, last time we played at TE I beat you and you didn't top 4...granted it was over a month ago, but thats because most weeks you pay Nate not to pair us up. I don't blame you though, its a smart move lol.
He wasn't always evil...

We don't have another Legacy currently scheduled for 2010 but are working on it. In the mean time, those who enjoyed this tourney and want to play in other big tourneys at Die Hard Games can look forward to our biggest tournament series ever as we host our DHG 1k and a case tourney on 10/24.
That's the full flyer and we hope to see you on October 24th.
Thanks again for your support and I hope you enjoyed this past Legacy tourney.
