Yeah unfortunately he was pretty dedicated to the date change. How many people were planning on coming that now no longer can?

well, since its moved to Nov. 20, there was already a tournament planned by a card shop in Pasadena that date. You guys might want to move your date again cuz its going to split the attendance.
If you wanna test and play against sourcers on MWS, get on this server. BackDrop was kinda enough to start up his own server. thesource.servegame.com

I am not sure how many people were planning on going to the Mox tournament from San Diego County, but I doubt it was that many. What I think is going to happen is all the Orange County/Los Angeles people who might think about coming to San Diego for this Mana Drain tournament will instead just go to the Mox tournament (that is what I would do if I did not live in San Diego). So in reality, the Mox tournament should be fine attendance-wise, while the Mana Drain tournament might see 5-10 less people because they cannot pull from Orange County/L.A. Either way I do not give a fuck because none of this affects me.

I am a LA person who won't be coming down in a car full of people.

We had planned on coming down with 5 guys
and I think Antonius was planning on 3-4 guys from his team. But as Have Heart said with the new date we won't be missing the Mox tournament since such a tourny is rare in L.A.

Do people still play Legacy around here?

I was here over the summer and went to a couple weekly tournaments, but then I left and I've been gone for the last several months. Now, I'm back, permanently, and hoped to meet people/see what the MTG community is like.

I know Game Empire was where the tournaments were (are?) held. How's the community there?

Are there still weekly legacy tournaments at Artifex? I was going about every week until around 5 months ago, when my son was born; but now I'm interested in going again. Are there at least monthly tournaments?

Crazy Fred's (www.crazyfreds.com) in La Mesa holds weekly Legacy tournaments on Sundays, starting at 1.

I'm going to show up this Sunday. Doubtful there'll be enough for a tournament, but that's probably a good thing, since that means I can watch the Superbowl.
