How does Necrotic Ooze work when Nezumi Graverobber is in my graveyard?
The first unflipped ability works. If the condition also occurs when no cards are in an opponent's graveyard, Necrotic Ooze flips....but nothing really changes. Flipped cards only have their "flipped" abilities when they are on the battlefield. I'll dig up the rule that says so....EDIT: Found it.
So you have a flipped Ooze that still has the same name, text box, type line, P/T, and I believe still has the first ability too (along with all of the other abilities it might have).709.1b - The bottom half of a flip card contains an alternative name, text box, type line, power, and toughness. These characteristics are used only if the permanent is on the battlefield and only if the permanent is flipped.
Yeah, I was curious about this too when discussing this with my friends, so I knew where to look.
/e: nevermind
The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
1. Discuss the unbanning ofLand TaxEarthcraft.
2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
4. Stifle Standstill.
5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).
If the Ooze has both ability, it would be awesome. Thanks for the quick answer.
