You board 1 in and keep one in the side. I wouldn't play 2 Deathmark though, I personally like 1 Oust and 1 Deathmark.

I'll probably be running a 1 Deathmark, 1 Innocent Blood split, since my local metagame has some Hive Mind, Reanimator, and Hypergenesis decks.

rockstar summed up why Swarm is good, almost regardless.

There is very little setup for PiF. You either have rituals or not. Ideally you have IT, BW, DRit, LED, Rite in hand. Cast Infernal Tutor doubling up Rite and pass the turn, then next turn BW into PiF and win. Problem is it requires a lot of specific cards to win and is conditional, but the card is good enough that it should be run since it will not bring back counters or hate cards like Trap. I don't see why you wouldn't run both, I win with IGG all of the time (when I play TES in a tournament), why would you want to just throw it away for a conditional win card? Play both.

Grid gets Dazed ... so, 1 less counter, if you expect Daze, just run a Petal out there before casting. I like Swarm in this spot but grid certainly has its merits.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I think Past in Flames should be run alongside IGG. I think IGG is too important to not play especially against aggro decks. Past in Flames seems more like a lategame card against blue and discard rather than an alaternative wincon vs aggro decks. That's why I think Past in Flames should replace DR because it's function is to negate the oppoent's hand disruption and to win without using life. I think Past in Flames does this. It also doesn't require Orim's Chant nor does it refill their hand.

Don't you think paying for Daze with Lotus Petal is bad? I think I would rather the Daze resolve.. Then again, letting Daze do anything isn't very good. I just don't think this deck should lose to Daze. hmm..

I don't think you understand probability...

Probability is the expected long run outcome distribution of some event in the sample space. This means if you perform the experiment infinitely, the limit as you approach infinity of the proportion of successes over the total number of trials approaches some number, hopefully the number Bryant has posted. If we hold the percentages that Bryant has in the primer to be true, then the reason people do not personally experience these percentages is because anything can happen over finite trials, aka the short run.

It's like the lottery, just because you net positive on your third ticket doesn't mean you don't go bankrupt if you keep playing. It is simply bad beats.

So where exactly do I fail to understand probability?

Ad Nauseum should be banned before LED. Banning LED would remove Tendrils Storm from the metagame entirely, banning Ad Nauseum would not; that would only remove its 'I win' button.

I played my Counterblade deck against my friends TES deck.

Um, Empty the Warrens loses to an active Batterskull. Best to avoid going that route if you are going against a deck using SFM->Batterskull.

Anyways, what are your thoughts on CBT decks making a comeback? Do you think people will bother despite vial decks that are likely to make a resurgence?

To clarify, Until you've performed all of the actions on the card, Diminishing Returns is still on the stack. Diminishing Returns goes into your graveyard as the final part of resolving the spell.

While TES is simply better than ANT anyway .... that guy could be playing any combo deck against ANT and winning ... thats just running fucking good, nothing u can do to stop him, hope his good fortune holds. I'd like to see a skill intensive deck win one of these SCG events.
