Hey guys, I've been looking high and low for legacy tournaments in Boston, but have not found any, so I thought to myself, why not organize one myself!? I've seen my friends game casually at Pandemonium Books & Games, so I figured that we could use that spot as a space for our tournaments. It's located on 4 Pleasant Street Cambridge, you can reach it through the red line. We could do prizes if you guys wanted to, but that would require an entry fee!
If you'd like to be on the mailing list/join, please PM me telling me:
What days of the week would be ideal for you.
    &
If you'd like an entry fee so that we could have prizes.
Once I get a decent mailing list, I'll mail you guys the first date of our tournament!
    Cheers,
    Jason

We've got a weekly Legacy night going on at Pandemonium already, and there's details in this thread.

The short of it is $5 entry fee, 6:30pm on Mondays, proxies allowed.

Any Legacy in Philly on the regular?

Even as far as West Chester would be fine.

Alternatively, is there a "search this thread" feature here on the source? That way I'd be able to find out myself.

    Thanks all!

    Re: Weekly 1.5 tournaments - Where's yours?

Hopefully this is the right place to post this, it seemed like the best area.

Tabletop Arena closed its doors in Manchester, NH last week and will be moving to Lowell, MA. I am from Manchester and while the drive is not too bad, i may only be able to go a few times a month for legacy unless i could carpool with people who went to the store and want to go down.

This was sudden and i don't have numbers to talk to most of the guys who were at our weekly events, though i know some of you post here also.

I'm wondering if there's any other stores with legacy events in the NH area or closer than a 45 minute drive? The loss of this store in the area is tough since most of the other stores around here have had problems with poor turnouts, inconsistent prizing, inept organizers who screw up with software/reporting and affect people's ratings negatively (therefore those players stop going), or most of them only do limited because it has the best turnouts compared to standard, legacy, etc. I've looked through the other places in nh like dragon, myriad games, jetpack, collectibles, etc and none of them do legacy. I think double midnight was going to do some, but they can't even get 4 people for standard and their vintage tournament flopped so i don't think they ended up hosting any.

When the store does move, i'm also open to pitching gas to go for legacy every week, if you went to this store PM me. In the meantime and in general though i'm hoping to find a store that's still hosting legacy in the NH area.

    Re: Weekly 1.5 tournaments - Where's yours?

I've been looking for a place in Western PA that has regular Legacy events, if such a thing exists. The closest place I know of is in State College (~2 hours away), and their events are about once per month it seems. Any suggestions?
