I'll be back in an attempt to not punt my way out of top 8 in the last round.
I will be there and not scrubbing out this time in the 5th rd.
This sounds great, I was just searching for GPT locations. Your tournaments are very well run, I'm definitely looking forward to playing here again.
I might actually go to GP ATL, so I guess I better have my list nailed down the night before so I don't deck reg. error my way out of the T8 early for this one.
Awesome I will be there for sure with the usual
getting crew together, cya then :)
Currently getting groups from both SNHU and CCSU going to this; this'll be good meta game practice before the SCG the week after.
Call me Ishmael
This is going to be good.
"Dredge isn't a deck, it's public masturbation with graveyard triggers."
Updated main post. We are going to do a side event for judge promo light and shadow. $5 entry... free entry if we hit 60 or more players
Saw alot of Legacy folk at SCG: Providence in the brief time I popped in. I wanted to play, but family issues arose. Lent my RUG deck to Droid who top 8'd then masterfully punted
Legacy appears to be alot of fun right now so I think we'll have a pretty good turnout. Add the fact that this is probably the best testing you can get the week before SCG: Worcester and it could be a fantastic turnout
Hope to see you on June 2nd!

Why does this tourney have shitty non blue duals for top 4? It seems like Dave dident get the memo that kird apes are on the rise again.
The Dead Will Rise... Rest In Peace
yup. Dana likes to troll dont mind him
With the side event added, I think this could end up being our biggest legacy ever...
and that would be saying something
I'll have seating for 100 up. I think that should be enough. If somehow we go over I'll cross that bridge if we have to. I've never turned anyone away from any of my events and I don't plan on starting now.
Thanks again for the support. See you guys in a few weeks

Picked up my byes yesterday, still planning on showing up and picking up some duals.
Hey Dave, couldn't help but notice this event isn't listed on the dhg calendar. Everything still on for the second?
awesome
This event is 110% still ongoing lol. I didn't spend the past 2 months advertising for nothing (I hope)
Which calendar? I have multiple (website/facebook). It must've slipped my mind. I have like 5 gigantor tourneys in June and am working on advertising all of them. http://www.flickr.com/photos/5911580...7629754278352/ for flyers. We even just announced a 2k weekend on the DHG facebook (standard & sealed) for the last weekiend in June that hasn't been flyer'd yet.
We're geared up and ready to go. I think we're going to be packed. People keep coming up to me telling me they're going... and these were people who weren't part of the 85 that came to my last buncha duals
Plus this is a GPT so the byes are obviously valuable to potential GP: Atlanta-goers.
I'm seriously looking forward to it. Thanks again!

Awesome, looking forward to the event.
I was looking at the calendar on the dhgri.com home page.
awesome
Almost there
I've been furiously preparing for this event. We'll have seating for 100 up and that should be good. We will be starting on time at noon, just like the last buncha duals event. If you're late, I probably can't let you in, and if I do it's going to be with penalties. I don't mess around for the big ones :p
Top 8 will most likely be timed *dodges tomatoes*
I do have another gigantic GPT immediately following this on Sunday (Sealed /w top 8 draft for over a case!), so I need to be out of store at a reasonable time.
Doors open at 10:30. I suggest being here by 11:30 to give yourself ample time to go over your deck and your list. Speaking of decklists, it does make life easier to have them filled out ahead of time,
http://www.wizards.com/dci/downloads...onstructed.pdf, but we'll have sheets on hand as well.
Swiss rounds will be 50 minutes. Top 8 will be 60 minutes. Head judge will once again be the honorable Tim Gagne.
Sincerely looking forward to this event. See you on Saturday!
