The venue will be open on tuesday from 5PM to 8PM in order to :
- register for wednesday events
- take back preorders and buy or sell cards to the shop

We'd like to remind you that two headed giant tournament on wednesday had been replaced by a trial (in standard) for standard@BoM7

Optional rules for Commander
Sideboards
Rather than filling every deck with banal responses, it is preferable to allow some flexibility in the composition of a deck.

Players may bring a 10 card sideboard in addition to their 99 cards and 1 Commander.
After Commanders are announced, players have 3 minutes to make 1-for-1 substitutions to their deck.
Any cards not played as part of the deck may be retrieved by "wishes".
Reasoning:

Highly tuned threats piloted by skilled opponents mandate efficient answers. The minimum number of response cards required to ensure they are available in the early turns can easily overwhelm the majority of an EDH deck's building space.

Sideboards allow players to respond to the "best" strategies in a timely fashion . They should be strongly considered as a necessary defense against brokenness and degeneracy in an environment where no gentlemans agreement on style of play exists.

I placed 31st (out of about 400) in today's big trial for the Legacy event. 10 rounds of swiss Magic, no cut to Top8/16. I'm so exhausted, but had quite a lot of fun.

The top tables were infested with Elves, it was crazy.

A 400+ man tourney being called a trial is funny ... many green men were present everywhere. I'm thinking of switching to moat stompy tomorrow.

I regret not taking time off for BoM. I've never seen a vintage match in person. Yet, If I could have gone back 2 months had bought a ticket to go, I would. Even if I was just going to watch Vintage, it'd be worth it to me. I seriously checked plane ticket prices last night and thought about calling in sick to attend. It's an itch that I want to scratch.
