Well its reprinted as a mythic and it being very sought after for standrad and modern I doubt its gonna drop.
Can we get a link to the promos for Duels of the Planeswalker promos source?
Whenever I see a kid in a wheelchair it makes me a little sad. Because I always think, "Gee, they could have used those same wheels to make a bike for a regular kid. What a waste."
So appearently you get a code when you buy the game which you can redeem to get the physical promo cards.
Even if the Ooze is Mythic, that should drop the price quite a bit.
SCG now lists Port at $70. I can't help but wonder: are there people who are actually stupid enough to pay those kinds of prices? Last week (May 11) there was an auction on ebay UK, and 3 Ports (1 English, 2 foreign, all M/NM) sold for £48 which is roughly $75. Of course you could argue that because they were being sold as a three-of, and 2 were non-English, they sold for less than if 3 English-language copies were being sold as "Buy It Now", but the fact remains, there's a huge gap between SCG prices and most everywhere in Europe, at least. I don't know about the US.

I mean, I don't wan't to offend if someone here did actually buy Ports at $70, but it's more like SCG itself is treating its own customers like total idiots.
This just seems really weird; Rishadan Port isn't on the reserved list, isn't in a popular deck(Goblins, D&T and Lands?) and isn't played in casual land. This can't be right.

Ooze crashing to 20 is a good thing, not only for Modern but for Legacy too.
The Port spike makes ZERO sense, in all honesty.

Some of my friends sell records,
some of my friends sell drugs.
Alpha Moxen are overpriced.
No, not at all. When I started playing, Shivan Dragon was THE card to own. I remember the warm glow of accomplishment when I finally picked up a Beta copy ('96ish), just for how cool it was/looked. I had power by that point and it was way easier to get than a Beta Shivan.
The only thing I can think of (in relation to Rishadan Port) is this: Over the GP Strats'burg & Goblins potentially coming up, as well as people just buying cards for the decks, (Goblins/Death and Taxes) that there's been a surge in demand for Ports/Wastelands, and Ports have been harder to come by since they're actually rare, while Wastelands are uncommon. In that, maybe, MAYBE, that's the cause of the spike for Ports. Beyond that, well, that's all I can come up with for a theory.
