You don't necessarily need NO to be able to build this deck. While it does help and allows you to bypass the Glimpse chain, you can easily combo without it.

GBW versions are IMO the best equipped to deal with a varied metagame; W adds the hatebears against faster combo decks.

I borrow my friends' NOs when I play, and I see how powerful they are. Turn 2-3 Progenitus G2? Yes, I'll take it.

EDIT: for hatebears, you mean Teeg, Thalia, etc.?

I run them, but should I run at least one Savannah? Because of all the color-fix (Birchlore, DRS) is it good to open myself up to Wasteland?

With 2 Archdruids and 1 Priest, you definitely want that 2nd Craterhoof.

Also, play 4 GSZ — it adds an incredible amount of consistency and als helps a lot establishing Visionary+Symbiote.

    Gut feeling:

    +1 Craterhoof
    +2 GSZ
    (+1 NO)

    -1 Forest
    -1 Fyndhorn Elves
    -1 Eternal Witness
    (-1 Elvish Archdruid)
The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
    1. Discuss the unbanning of Land Tax Earthcraft.
    2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
    3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
    4. Stifle Standstill.
    5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
    6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
    7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).

If you're playing archdruids and priest of titania you SHOULD have 4 green sun's zenith, especially considering you're running only 2 Natural Order. Furthermore, green sun's zenith acts likes a mana elf turn 1, being able to grab dryad arbor.
Looking at your suggestions now. The main reason for the Archdruids is that they can stop Plague. Since I have started running Goblins and there are now two other Elf decks in my local meta, Plague is starting to be a very common sideboard card.

I like your point On GSZ, will cun a Quirion and the Eternal for it, moving the Eternal to my Sideboard. Thanks for your suggestions.

Sunday is my weekly Legacy, and I feel like playing Elves. Expected meta: Stoneblade, Turbo Eldrazi, ANT, Goblins, Lilly Pox, Junk, Jund, Maverick.

Will I get my ass kicked?

I would feel pretty confident sitting across from Goblins, Pox, Junk, Jund, and Maverick. If Junk has Deed, then you have to adjust your game plan, or you will lose to it. But as long as you don't overextend, you can get your board swept prob twice and still win. I play against Deadguy almost every week and they try to do the same thing. NO-Prog beats these decks games two and three.

Stoneblade is 50/50. The one with Deathrite Shaman helps their odds a little bit since it drops FoW and Pierce for better cards against us.

Turbo Eldrazi and ANT are uphill battles, in my experience. Eldrazi has counters and sweepers, with a semi-scary clock. While ANT is just faster.
The Quad Cities: twice as nice as the Twin Cities.

Without FoW you can NO => Regal pretty much for free, though, which kicks ass.

Is the logic behind running a 2nd Craterhoof Behemoth that an opponent who knows Elves lists generally only run 1 Hoof and therefore will let you glimpse, while only FoWing the Craterhoof or NO? Even if this happens, the opponent needs a sweeper or to combo-off themselves so as to not lose to the horde or random 1/1s that would attack the next turn.

If this is not the case...what is the idea behind the 2nd Craterhoof?

I assume for when you draw the first and still need to NO it for the quick-kill option. Personally, I don't think NO is even needed outside of matches where NO-Pro is the main win-con.

    If that's the case, I don't think the 2nd warrants a spot.

I used to have similar feelings with NO -- but it's inclusion is strong in the deck, especially with the printing of Craterhoof which offers a tutorable instant kill...which is akin to Emrakul tho so much better because it's 1/2 the cost, green, and CAN be NO'ed.

Having additional spells to that of Glimpse that are must-counter makes the deck more threat-heavy and harder to beat with a single counter, discard, etc...imo.

And my experience has been the opposite...I find myself questioning if Progenitus is even worth it. Maybe I've been up against the wrong match-ups more often than not.

Running a otherwise standard list with 1 Craterhoof, 1 Ruric Thar in the main for the local tournaments on Saturday and Sunday. Let's see how that turns out.

What's the general consensus on graveyard hate right now? Are 2-3 Faerie Macabre worth it?

I'm also actually considering Winter Orb against non-Maverick midrange and of course control. Has someone tried it? I'm leaning towards the 4th NO or a Sylvan Library in this slot but who knows?

I say add Progenitus to the main before you add the second Hoof. You would give yourself a great target for game one when you have a non-lethal Hoof.

I understand NO into Progenitus, but what good is Progenitus to you if you draw it?

Thought of that. If you can tap 16 untapped elves, well I would rather Banefire.

Naaaaaa, having your opponent scooping in embarassment does not happen casting Banefire.

I think Pro makes great sideboard tec against slower decks with no answers to it, but as a mainbord card? I think it is smarter to make every card you draw a threat.

Hope for the best, plan for the worst.
