Nope, but not for lack of of trying. Your contact never responded back.

Sometimes you have to pull your pimp out and fight with it.

Power 9 is one if the worst things you can buy cause they don't increase in value Hardly. U need like 3k for an unlimited set of power.

This is only partially true. Power 9 compared to Standard cards have less % increase over time in the short term. However, Power 9 are the least likely to be reduced in value as well. You can't go wrong taking stock in Reserve List cards.

Pretty sure Voice of Resurgence is the worst thing you can buy right now. Or other rotating standard staples that are dogshit in eternal at the peak of their value.

    See: Baneslayer, Bonfire, Titans, etc.

Sorry if I was confusing but I wouldn't ever even mention standard on this site. It's all trash.

The p9 still don't increase in value relative to other eternal cards. They will also never see a price spike since demand is rather flat. Also their power is already realized, meaning they won't ever be discovered and broken and see a huge price jump. Show and tell was the last card this happened to I believe.

Compare to beta duals that see play. Some time in the next few years a single beta underground sea will be worth more than a lotus. It is already worth more than an unlimited lotus.

Yes reserve list cards are a good store of value. But anything vintage I wouldn't expect to increase. My most disappointing vintage investment was bazaars. Think I got em for 130ishand now maybe worth 200. Had I have bought foil polluted deltas instead I'd have over 1k easy.

I mean, Alpha Fastbond is worth more than Revised Plateau as well; but I'm not not banking on Plateau seeing more growth. If you're viewing MTG cards as strictly investment vehicles, then you're wasting your money and time. There are much better stocks to invest. Buy the cards you want to collect (rather than invest), play with the ones you think are fun and cool to play with, and share your cool stuff!

You don't realize any gained value until you sell your cards. Tracking your MTG "stocks" is a fruitless effort unless you sell them when they are high. It's not a retirement strategy. There are also rather high transaction costs in order to realize the gains/(losses).

Anyways, this is off-topic. Less financial talk, more pictures of hundred dollar bills please.

Vintage players: why is ingot chewer. A "broken" card? I've had a lot
Of vintage players tell me so, and I have never understood.

Btw, is anyone going to NYC Comicon? I need Adi Granov's signature on a Playset of kiln fiend, and if
Possible an artist proof. I can only contact his agent, so no pity emails worked, and I
Know a lot of you happen to be sig-whores, so I figured this would be the place to ask.

the best artifact destruction against workshops. The evoke cost gets around the sphere effects that they possess. Spell pierce really has nothing to do with why it is good artifact removal.

    The search is finally over.
What it takes to be a pimp:
    1. Knowing the right people.
    2. Have the money
Not one or the other, but both.

It gets around Thorn of Amethyst, but not Sphere of Resistance or Trinisphere.

Plays through Chalice really well too. Late-game it's a good beater and trades with Mishra's Factories and Lodestones. It also drops off of Drain mana nicely.

Warning ... ugly CoB's and proxies.

Sometimes the Chewer goes Lockjaw and just beats the crap out of a bant player with a hardlock vs. your dredge deck (RIP + Cage). Like last night @ Sunday Night Vintage ... Get there doggie! Get there!
