I've recently got my first graded card ever in the mail :)

Richard Thomas is one of hardest original artist to persuade to sign. His last pieces are from "Tempest". He doesn't attend any Magic conventions, doesn't respond to emails and doesn't allow people to send him cards.

A friend of a friend knows him and got these signed for me.

What artists from Alpha (and what cards) are you missing then? And is there a reason why some of them are left unsigned?

Gauntlet of Might
Illusionary Mask
Lifelace
Mana Vault
Mox Emerald
Mox Jet
Mox Pearl
Mox Ruby
Mox Sapphire
Savannah
Time Vault
Time Walk
Timetwister
Underground Sea

I do have some of them but haven't got the chance to get them signed. Some are still on their way. The biggest Challenge out of this list will be the Gauntlet of Might. Christopher Rush is similarly hard to get hold off as Richard Thomas. Next are the Amy Weber's (Life Lace / Time Walk / Illusionary Mask / Copy Artifact). She stopped signing because some "fan" threatened to sue her because she "stole" his cards...Well, thank you very much! For the remaining cards on the list it's just the money problem (why should I fork out 1K for 1 card when I could get 5 other highly sought after cards instead )

Everything in my deck everyone's seen before or can find online, DCI Polluted Deltas, Flooded Strands, FNM Brainstorms, DCI Flusterstorm, Foil Merchant Scroll etc (Just think of a foiled out, promo'ed out High Tide deck)

However the one card in my deck that is exclusive, are these alters I did myself because I just wanted to do something for the namesake card of the deck, each one took around 3 hours each total, & they're the one alter I'd probably never part with:

Thanks! I was thinking about geist too. Will consider it. A non disruptive beat stick doesn't really jive with the plan though.
